will somebody please tell me *WHICH* “permalink migrator” is being discussed? I have been adding and deleting “permalink migrator” half the night and none of them are the right one, this is after going through this process for hours for the other *Unnamed* plugins…. would be great to have its actual name and its authors name so can know i have the *Right* plugin to put in

will somebody please help? let me know which plugin it actually is? the traffic getting plugin does *NOT* take me to any plugin only to a black screen when i try to use its “instal plugin” built in links. (for all of them, this is why i was hunting all over half the night)

Yep, I agree 100% with Bruno M; which migrator plugin is it? I too receive a dark screen, the plugins don’t work from the page supplied so I have to go to WordPress to download directly – no problem there – but it would help a LOT to know the author’s name and full title of the required software because I too am wasting time constantly downloading and deleting the incorrect items.

Well I’ve sorted it out myself, here’s what to do if you have a problem installing any of the plugins from the download page.

Place your cursor on the words ‘Install Plugin’ right click your mouse, and in the menu that opens up, click on ‘open link in new window’, this will take you directly to the WordPress download page, where you will see the plugin download link and author details in the right hand corner of the page.

I tried to activate Ping Optimizer but received an error message, so I downloaded ‘WordPress Ping Optimizer’ by Pankaj Jha instead and that installs fine. I note the plugin suggested by Underground Labs has only been tested for an earlier version of WordPress, I currently use the latest edition which probably explains why it won’t install.

I note on another Q&A for Underground Labs that someone says the screen goes dark when they try and download the plugins and they’re unable to download anything, it’s suggested that it may be down to a CSS error and to try downloading via a different browser – I had that problem too and tried downloading via Firefox (my normal browser) I.E amd Chrome, none of them removed the dark screen problem, so if anyone’s reading this with that particular issue, then personally I would avoid wasting your time and simply download the required plugins via the method I’ve described up above. Hope that helps anyone with the problem that Bruno M and I have been having.
