    Hi Jeff,

I have the Yoast plugin, Will it be enough to just deavtivate it to test run yours( As I have had to do a few tweaks with yoast as it does funny things with post type titles, out-of-the-box)? also I set my peralinks using /%postname%/ in wordpress settings itself , what will your plugin do to alter this, I like having the post title showing in the URL?

Thanks for all your emails I always pick up some tips or ideas to try.

Please follow the instructions here, including backing your wp installation up before you install TGSP. That way if something goes wrong during installation, or you don’t like the changes simply revert back to the way it was before TGSP.

TGSP works with other plugins. However, it does change certain setting such as permalinks. During installation you have the option of not allowing it to make those permalink changes so it’s up to you. My preferred structure set by TGSP includes the post id as well as the postname; postid helps wp run more efficiently and is pretty much a non-event from an SEO standpoint.

      I hope you enjoy it.

I install this plugin in my wordpress 3.4 version but have this problem.
How can I solve this problem?

Site error: the file /home/waytosha/public_html/ requires the ionCube PHP Loader to be installed by the site administrator.

Hi Richard, I got the same error. If you figured out how to deal with it then let me know.

The error doesn’t seem to be hindering the site, but I’d love to get rid of the error if possible.

What is the correct permalink structure for the plugin? I am using /%postname%/ however no matter what I change it to I see a message telling me it’s wrong.

        • Jeff Johnson 02. Feb, 2013 at 11:47 am #

TGSp should allow you to use any structure you’d like, and you have the option during set up to tell it not to switch over to the default /%post_id%/%postname%/ format.

Here’s where you can find some additional info on permalinks:

I installed the plugin, but it keeps saying I need to upgrade to WP 2.7:

Traffic Getting Requires WordPress 2.7 or greater!

I have the latest version: Version 3.4.2

There’s no other option. What can I do?

    • Jeff Johnson 20. Nov, 2012 at 9:00 pm #

When I have issues with plugins I try to uninstall them and then reinstall them.

If the issue persists than I try deactivating all the plugins and then reactivate them one by one in an attempt to find out if one of them is causing the issue.

Or I check with my host and see if they can help.

Also, most issues have been discussed in our FAQ or installation guide.

Please review our installation guide and FAQs.

    Hi Jeff

We had a weird thing happen on our servers and one of the urls in the logs was the underground training lab. Wondering if you have had this before

our entire Host Gator server was brought down due to several thousand requests (in a very short time frame) from a vast variety of random referrers; such as the below. All referring to the valentines favicon on the blog posts on Cruise Megastore. It maxed out our CPU to 100%. – – [13/Feb/2013:09:52:55 +1000] “GET /news/po-valentines-day-cruise-sale//favicon.ico HTTP/1.1” 301 – “ removed from URL)” “Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/24.0.1312.57 Safari/537.17”

    Any thoughts please

I forwarded it to my tech guys asked them to look into it for you.

What is the full URL including the domain that was experiencing the issue?
