  1. Jim Marsh says:

    Great Video Jeff.

One question I do have though is when it comes to the bonus offers. Ever since the bonus promotions have come to be I have seen my sales go down because I do not have my own product and am not a big name guru that can give a bunch of stuff away.

How can someone like me continue to compete?

    Thanks,
    Jim

Jeff Johnson: Definitely. Hire a programmer to develop a piece of software, buy the rights to something of high-perceived value, or offer a service that helps them get more out of the product.

Timing of your maililngs can also help bring your sales back up.

Mail the night before to reset the cookie, then again the morning of the launch, and just after the launch goes live… as close as possible to launch time.

  2. Mike Hews says:

    Jeff:

    How can we speak?

I can teach the Media Insider Secrets to my $200 Million dollar direct response success story …

complete with a video from my client at his 110 acre horse ranch he bought with the money he made working with me.

I want to learn from YOU … you are so clear …
    AND from Michigan …

    like me … (Ypsilanti) …

    Let’s talk.

    - Mike Hews

Jeff Johnson: I’m not sure I follow you… teach your secrets to whom?

    Go State!

  3. Good stuff once again Jeff!

I like the stuff about the right offer to pick! I recently experienced this when I promoted two different offers… spending the same amount of time on each one… and making $2,500 with one and $150 with the other!

Guess which one I’ll be spending ALL my time on next time around?

  4. Ed says:

Wow ! Your video tutorial is just amazing, all I can say is Brilliant, and thanks for the affilliate link, to make some extra cash Free!

  7. Jeff,

Have followed for quite a while …. and will follow your generous free content forever ….

But your “Free Traffic-Getting” footer needs a fix. Its bottom-half disappears below my OS Windows XP screen.

Maybe it’s me and mine … but just a heads-up.

    Herb

Jeff Johnson: Try a different browser or adjust your screen resolution… we tested it on thousands of blogs and only a few people have reported that issues… and this normally fixes it.

  8. Great Video!

  9. SeoNext says:

Really a nice tutorial video.Really an informative video.

  10. Jim Yocom says:

it disappears on my screen also. Why not just fix it rather than dismiss those of us who are
trying to do biz with you?

    Jim Yocom

  11. thank you Michael Costello for sending me to watch the video, the video is awesome.

I have the same problem viewing the footer – it is cut off where you enter the email. I am using Safari 4 browser on a Mac.

    Talk soon,
    Karen

  14. Ami says:

Thank you . Great video. Very informative.
The three blogs in the same niche thing. Is it with each blog going after a different subniche?

Jeff Johnson: Not necessarily, just three blogs to use for incoming link love. Three subniches are better.

  15. Smt.AshaSharma says:

    Dear Sirs,
Please don’t get disappointed if I say that your viedeo presentation seems good but it has failed to convey anything . I devoted much of my time on it but sorry to say that due to some technical problem, sound is hazy, not clear and every sentence is heard only in parts, not completely. Thus meanin is not conveyed clearly. So please make it more efficient so as to convey full meaning to your customers. I feel sorry to state this. But my intention is to give you a hint to improve your manifestations more specific and clear. I hope you will not take it otherwise.

Looking forward to more free tutorial marketing content. Great job Jeff !

  18. Hi Jeff –

Thank you for this video….is excellent! I took notes, and copied down your points, even though they tended to blur on my screen.

For some reason I can’t get the SEO Traffic Getting v2.0 to work on my blog. It says installed and yet says the dns servers failed to activate.

I’ll play with it later in the week. I am hosted by hostgator but my domain is with GoDaddy.

I installed wordpress 2.8 with Fantastico so don’t know what the problem could be. Perhaps it is the 2.8 or just the GoDaddy….but can’t afford a new domain just now though.

Been studying for a while. Things are finally starting to click.

Just need to figure out how to earn a bit of cash to afford some ppc campaigns and the like. I WILL get there! —-jemyl

  19. john says:

Outstanding video. I like your presentation too. I presume at some point this will go to dvd??? hehe; next email send THAT link along will ya?

Jeff Johnson: Actually, we don’t have any current plans to release that seminar’s DVD set. But you guys will be the first to know if we do!

  20. This is an excellent video tutorial and I want to see more like this. For anyone out there wondering, there’s really no fluff here folks. Straight and to the point. Thanks Todd for pointing me to this video and I thank Jeff for his time and sharing his knowledge.

  22. storm walton says:

Hey Jeff,Question the best bonuses seem to be instant rebates,But do you have any software to set up a instant rebate program for affiliate offers?

Jeff Johnson: Not aware of any, and most of the people I know do not allow instant rebates for their products, so make you you get the ok to offer one first.

  23. I would like to find the blogs and read them.

There is a lot of information here. It will take quite a while to figure everything out

  30. Good stuff. Thank you for the useful nuggets. I’m going to use them today!

  31. Jeff:

Hi, thanks for the informative video. I practice most of these principles already but it was nice to refresh my memory and learn a few new tricks.

I understand your idea about Joint Venturing and I was wondering if we could discuss some sort of agreement/negotiation. I have several lists, one of which contains several thousand clients who have bought Automated Forex Trading Software. However, if this niche works for you, or if you would like details on my other lists, I would be happy to discuss some terms with you and/or your company. The offer I desire from you is for you to view our new Clickbank Product, test it out, see what you think, and then, if it is as good as we believe it is, promote this product to your list/lists?

    Could we talk further?

I love to hear from you.

    Thanks:

    George Webster, VisiTrak Marketing LLP

    zs

Jeff Johnson: I appreciate the your offer but I’m no longer in the forex markets.

    Josh

Jeff Johnson: Absolutely. I see it all the time.

  40. Thanks Jeff. I just discovered you through some of the other gurus and your stuff is top notch. I have created a few high end products so now that I know I offer bonuses on clickbank products I’m going to work. I’ll let you know my results with this technique.

    Thanks

  41. Hey Jeff!

Great content as usual… this is awesome getting the details filled in like this. The concepts are expansive, so getting the fine points from someone who understands them is a HUGE help!

I really wish I could jump into your training program, but I’m still in learning mode with Alex Jeffreys. So I’ll keep learning from your free content until the next go-round!

    Thanks a ton!

  42. I love your work Jeff but the video doesn’t come up for me. Can’t wait to take a peak at it.

  43. Very good video Jeff. One question i cant use the 2 version of your Software on my blog it doesnt accept the upgrade it is the last wordpress but i dont know why.It can affect my seo a lot?
    Bye
    Paul

Jeff Johnson: I”m not sure which program isn’t allowing an upgrade, but either way the upgrade for traffic gettings seo plugin version 2.xx isn’t seo related, it was simply small bug fixes.

  44. Victor says:

Great video Jeff. Thanks a lot. By the way your WP SEO Traffic Plugin works wonders.
Couldn’t you try to speak a little bit slower. Us foreigners suffer here!. Thanks.

  45. Tom Williams says:

Great information to start me on the right path with my new home business. Thanks…Marty

  53. Great content Jeff – you are a speed demon teacher man!

Three “hidden” tips that help with the bonus to capture more affiliate sales

    1. Build a list – the bigger and better your list, the more relationships you have to leverage with killer offers

    2. Be a product creator – everyone tries to stay away from this “sensitive” topic – but designing and creating in-demand products (even if you outsource them) is the key to having value that you can leverage with affiliate offers and JV’s

    3. Understanding the power of blogging – how to get a network of blog sites up rapidly in pre-launch stages that can help target traffic to your special offer

There is some work involved in this…it doesn’t just happen, but man it is possible and great when it hits.

    Jeff

  54. Wow Great content Jeff, I got here by way of Frank K. and he warned me your delivery is fast so show up with pen and paper in hand and man he was right . Thanks for the video and awesome content.

  55. Thanks for the software Jeff!

My traffice went from 2,500 to over 5,500 in one month! Your software doubled my traffic!

I know some people say “Man, your software just adds all the other stuff, lame man..”

    Those people don’t get it…

Your software not only makes sure I have all the plugins I need… It COFIGURES it for ME!!!

    Thank you a lot!

The first time I heard of you Jeff was on Jeff Walkers Bonus Video’s of the PLF seminar.

I just bought Franks product so I’m all taped out at the moment. But…

Since I’ve paid for Walkers, Reese, Kerns, Carltons, Filsame’s, main products, it is inevidable that I will join your club on the next time round…

Thank you again for the free content, but even more, all that traffic!!! Woot Woot!

  56. Jeff, awesome content! Picked up a few little nuggets that will definitely add some $$$$ to my business…

  60. Jeff,

for some reason I am unable to login to download the software. Is there a new username and password that I am not aware of since the 6/11/09 update.

Jeff Johnson: Definitely. Please make sure you are subscribed to my Traffic Getting SEO mailing list to receive all the updates.

As usual, excellent material and insights into making this affiliate “thing” work.

    Keep it comin’

so that I can work how to

  63. Dominic says:

Man you talk fast, my pen’s burning up!! Great content , Thanks!

  64. Sera says:

Great video, But I am still a bit confused about the 3 blogs per niche part…. Are you supposed to write the same posts? different posts? Just link to your main blog post?

Jeff Johnson: Different posts, link to your other blog posts, static pages, video, social profile page, etc in that market on multiple domains.

It’s used to link to whatever you would like to send some link juice to.

  65. Ed Baker says:

    Hi Jeff,
Heard you talk about Auto-Posting, but missed details someplace. I am a bit confused about the subject.
    1) Does auto-posting improve page rank?
    2) Best media to auto-post; Articles, Video or Yahoo Answers?
    3) How often to set posting software (hourly, daily, other)?
    Regards,
    Ed

Jeff Johnson: No, auto posting won’t improve rank with the exception of constant updating of posts and the total number of posts increasing.

however, the quality is the most important part so orginal keyword rich content is best.

Posting once or twice a day is fine, even once a twice a week will work depending on your market and keyword selection.

  66. hi Jeff,
As an artist who has a cultivate a make money mindset, your advice has been fantastic. I have begun to tweak my blog with a more clear focus so that I can make a living doing what I love to do — write!
Thanks and I hope to see more of you soon and maybe get to a place where I can give back.
    Cheerio!

  67. Thank you for the video. Great info ideed. I cannot wait to join the undergroundtraining lab.

  68. Craig says:

Thanks for the info Jeff. Any chance you could make the audio format a download for our Mp3 players?

Also where can we get a cool little footer like the Free traffic getting seo software one you have on this page?

    Thanks again

Jeff Johnson: I’ll have to edit the audio to provide context for a download but I’ll see what I can do.

That cool footer thing is a custom job done by my guys. Sorry, but I don’t have a copy for sale or giving away right now.

  69. Jeff

Audio only would be great if it was downloadable.
There must be loads of people like me that download to an mp3 player and listen while they commute.
When I am in front of my PC I am there to work so audio that I can only listen to in front of my PC is the same as video – I just don’t bother.
    Hope that’s useful

Jeff Johnson: The audio is for people that don’t have high bandwidh connections. But I’ll see what I can do about a mp3 download.

  70. Thank you for always sharing

  71. John says:

Thanks for creating an audio version. It would be very helpful to have more audio versions created.

  72. thanks jeff

it’s always in the bonuses where i don’t seem to get things wrong you have given me another “duh” moment you keep me from forgetting all the steps

    keep up the great work

  74. thank you so much for all valuable information

  75. Thanks Jeff,

I watched all those videos that this audio came from and found them to be full of great stuff for my team.

Thanks again and keep them coming.

    Regards,

    Nick.

  76. Eddy says:

    Hallo Jeff,
this is Eddy from the Netherlands.
i’ll like to start a coaching business do you have some advice on how to get started? how can i get knowladge to teach others. (hope you get my bad english)

    thanks in advance.
and keep up the good work.
    Eddy.

Jeff Johnson: The only way to get knowledge to teach others is to gain it through study, or acquire it from someone that already has it (buy their knowledge assets).

You can’t coach others without establishing yourself as an expert first, and/or having some success of your own or success of your students.

Strart by doing, learn by doing, succeed by doing.

  77. Great information on auto posting… I have been using that technique for getting a little traffic to blogs, to get them listed rather quickly in the serps, and alot of times when looking in my analytics software, I get the keywords that as used to get to my site. And with that I can begin to construct my own content from and rank for.

  78. Charles says:

Like several others leaving comments, I am not able to see all of “FREE TRAFFIC-GETTING SEO SOFTWARE” box. It cuts off about 1/32″ below the bottom of SEO. I am using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox on a PC with Windows XP.

Jeff Johnson: Try adjusting your screen resolution, or another brower… that normally clears it up.

  79. Thanks for the mind relieving info.

  80. Thanks for the mind relieving info! Keep up the good work!

  81. Sounds strategy that I used with a lot of success. Unfortunately, my two power seo blogs have been hacked. a dumb mistake from me. But I’m coming back.

  82. Brittany Andrews says:

Some good info. but alot of it seems to apply to the make money/IM niches. What about for people who aren’t interested in these niches? And I like the idea of ‘continuity’ but there aren’t that many programs out there in places like CB that offer it.

So can this info. be applied for affiliates targeting niches outside the make money/IM niches? Also, you seem to like “product launches,” what about affiliate products that have been around for a year or more outside the make money/IM niches—would this info. work for affiliates promoting products outside these 2 niches?

Jeff Johnson: This specific video targets the IM market and product launches, that’s the whole focus of the presentation; the idea was to teach people who to “just get started and do something”, and this is an easy answer.

It does not, however, just apply to “make money” niches… I’ve seen launches in the forex, band instrument, horses, real estate, dating, and many, many other non-IM and/or “make money” niches.

And continuity was invented in non IM/ make money niches…. book of the month, record clubs, software licensing, financial services, etc.

This technique would work for any niche with a launch.

As for products that have been around a long time…. if the product is being actively searched for then you can indeed build a blog, a list, and work on promoting the product for free traffic, or even PPC.

I make thousands every single month promoting products that have been around a long time, and are not have launches.

This video, however, was specifically addressing the “get in front of a launch and start making money” clients that were attending the seminar.

  83. Erhan says:

Jeff , Really awesome video. thanx for sharing with us.

  84. markus says:

Jeff, really a nice information to start as an affiliate and grow online sales by many fold through your system

  85. Romson says:

    Good info, thanks!

  86. Jeff,

As a former citizen of the great city of Sterling Heights, I can say we all talk that fast.

    Great presentation.

    Dave

  87. Ed says:

Continuity programs are all fine and dandy *IF* they’re done HONESTLY. Unfortunately I don’t believe this is the case.

Several months ago, I paid for a trial period for an offer to check it out. I decided I did not want to continue with it and canceled within 24 hours.

Within two weeks of my cancellation, I got hit for a $47 membership fee for a continuity program that I had no idea was involved. Yes, I read the terms and conditions, twice, and didn’t find any mention of it until a fifth reading a month and a half after they hit me with the $47 charge. So I cannot help but conclude that the information about their continuity program was NOT in their terms when I first read them.

Since then, I have spent the last several months fighting with them via paypal to get this thing stopped.

I have also spent a good deal of time looking very closely at a large number of offers out there and I find that MOST of them have these hidden continuity programs and that most of the time the details are buried in a terms of service page that is written in legalese and using font and color combinations that make it extremely difficult to read.

I realize that you make money hand over fist and $47 isn’t even pocket change to a guy like you, but it’s bloody important to us “little guys” that are trying to get something going on the thinnest of shoestrings.

So when you teach continuity, I suggest that you impart the extreme importance of making that continuity ultra obvious on the very first page that the would be customer lands on. It should NEVER be buried in hard to find and even harder to read terms and conditions pages.

Sneaky, underhanded tactics like that are one of the things that make me so incredibly distrustful of ALL marketers regardless of what they’re selling because I’ve learned the hard way that most of them are out to rob people blind in pursuit of the almighty dollar.

There’s a special place in hell for people like that and it’s going to be even more crowded than the section for politicians!

Jeff Johnson: I clearly state my continuity terms and fees on the sales page right next to the “add to cart” button, and once again in the shopping cart before they enter their card info.

I personally feel that continuity should be disclosed and don’t know why anyone would hide it, but they do.

However, contiuty is a great business model and people should always consider it as part of their business.

    Just don’t hide it.

  88. Dave Foreman says:

I don`t want to have a membership with this underground secret society any more…so if, some one can delete me from the society than that would be great and I think my user name is xxxx.

Wow you really did fly through this. It was great content but there were so many nuggets that you gave, I had to stop and rewind several times. It was well worth the hour that I put into learning this.

  92. Sharon says:

    Hi Jeff,

This is really good information for new affiliates.

    Sharon
    FingerBiz.Com

  93. I have looked at many sites and not come a cross such a site as yours that tells you what you really need to know about affiliate marketing.

I’ve added your feed to my reader, are there any other good blogs you’d suggest I read on the subject?

Jeff Johnson: Any of the marketers that I recommend to my list are worth checking out.

  94. ABrient says:

Good tips. I don’t like collecting email addresses even though I know how valuable they can be. I know for me, being on the other side of the fence, I have a junk email address specifically for those sites that require an email address in order to get something free. I get the free thing and then unsubscribe. But just in case the site sends me spam after the fact, that it won’t be in my personal email address. Instead it will be over in the email account for junk/spam mail that I rarely check. I’m sure I’m not the only person that does this. haha. Now sites that don’t force me to give my email address just to get something free gets my personal email address if I feel it’s worth it. For example, restaurants that I go to that have a mailing list, stores I shop at frequently that have a mailing list and so on. Anyway, back to what you were saying I know that offering bonuses are useful. Incentivizing an offer is not always allowed by advertisers at affiliate networks. More times than not it’s frowned upon. So this would be best for selling your own product or clickbank prodcuts? Do you know of an affiliate network site that allows all types of traffic including incentivized traffic?
Jeff Johnson: Fortunately enough people will give you their real email address that it makes it all worthwhile.

Each affiliate program is different so all I can say is make sure you read the terms of service for the affiliate program before you offer a bonus.

But I can say it’s not just for your own products or clickbank products.

  95. Allen says:

I read the comments and thought… it can’t be that good. Amazing content there some wicked tips … or an entire system even!

  96. Pauline says:

    Hmm.. Interesting

  107. Hi Jeff,
I really don’t know how I recieved your emails, however I’m glad to have the info. I only know how to use blogspot by google. does your SEO plug in work with that blog? and if not how do I create a blog that will use the software?
    thanks, pamee

Jeff Johnson: My lists are double optin which means you had to request to be on them, and then confirm your request to be on them… I hope that rings a bell :)

As for blogspot, sorry, but it only works with installed wordpress blogs.

I believe there’s a tutorial about using fantastico to install a wordpress blog in less than 2 minutes here:
    http://www.undergroundtraininglab.com/tgsp-install/

If not, it’s fairly easy by following the instructions at http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress

  108. Hi,
Great site will check back often for updates.

  109. Hi Jeff after joining many affiliates never having any leads. I am please to say I have ONE LEAD which is a improvement on all those 0′s
This may sound small but this means the world to me.
    THANKYOU

  110. WOW….

Thanks for the great tips and help! =)

  111. Javier Schvindlerman says:

Hey Jeff! Thank you so much for this content… it’s amazing!
I have a great question, though (and I know your best content is for members only, but pleeeease, explain me this one).

What do you mean when you say every time you enter a new market you set up 3 different sites and then connect between them with Feeds?? I really need to understand that…

    Thanks in advance!

Jeff Johnson: I don’t connect them with feeds, I use them for incoming links for other sites in that market, including linking between each othere to provde link love.

I suggest that you build more than one site in each market you are in so you can create your own incoming links network, and so you have more than one site that can end up ranked in the serps.

  112. sonny says:

    Thank ‘s Jeff
I am still lost, will get back when I understand more.

  113. Adah says:

    One word. PRICELESS! :)

  114. Great video. Makes it very easy to understand.

  115. Benjamin says:

What if I dont have a list to sell to.. I would love to get in on this but I am kind of new to all this and I really want to learn. So I dont have a list to sell to yet. Im in the process of making optin page etc.. What do I do, start an adwords campaign? any tips would be great. I definately want to follow and learn from you. Thanks! You can just email if you have the itme.

Jeff Johnson: You have to build a list… that’s how we all start. Give away something in exchange for their email and then drive traffic via ppc or seo.

adwords is a very tricky subject and can’t possibly be covered in a blog comment. The two courses I used to recommend are no longer on the market but we do cover them in the club (I acquired the rights to them).

Just keep a close eye on your costs, make sure you work on increasing converstions, and focus in on buyer’s keywords.

  116. Great post! I

  117. John L says:

Hi, Jeff! Downloaded the plugin update, and saw post on becoming a super affiliate in 5 steps: where’s the video? John L
Jeff Johnson: Actually, it was in that post up until recently and have no idea why it disappeared… my guys are working on getting it back up. Thanks!

  118. John L says:

Hey, Jeff: oops! Never mind my previous inquiry re: “5 Steps”. It’s not on your blog, but I found it on YouTube. Great presentation, thank you. John L

Jeff Johnson: Actually, it was in that post up until recently and have no idea why it disappeared… my guys are working on getting it back up. Thanks!

  119. SuperClix says:

Cool site and video, keep on the good work!

  120. very informative,sharp presentation.thanks.

  121. Anatoly says:

Dear Jeff, can you teach me how to start making 1 cent monthly on regular basis using an Affiliate marketing?
I am not jocking. People teach how to become a Super Affiliate in 5, 6, 7 easy steps. I want to become a Kid Affiliate making 1 cent every month on regular basis. Is it really possible ?
I try to learn how for over 10 years. I spent over $30,000 during this time to learn how. It never happened!
    Thank you

Jeff Johnson: Well, if you goal is only 1 cent a month it really isn’t worth putting much effort into it :)

  122. John Englert says:

I’m an old man (70) and am trying to sell some articles that I have written as aperson that has the wisdom of age. Example, “How to change a golf driver to hit 40-50% more fairways”. Also, how to invest money into the markets without risking principal. How to have brighter teeth without using strips, I drink 6-10 cups of coffee a day and use this to keep’em white. Any help appreciated.

Jeff Johnson: Those sound like highly competitve markets that are used to spending money to grow… so set up an affiliate program, start hunting down affiliates, and start promoting services using blogs, videos, facebook, etc. Also sign up on elance and ifreelance to advertise your services. And don’t forget to use PPC and cheap ad sources like facebook, etc.

  123. Russ says:

great content in this video jeff

  124. Tom Hanson says:

    Hi Jeff,

You said you create 3 blogs before the launch of a new product, Are these identicle blogs or are there slight differences in each one?

    Thanks,

    Tom

  125. Ken says:

Ok, I’m confused. I’ve got all these free downloads and tutorials on plug-ins for WP I would love to use but WordPress.com doesn’t even have a tab for plug-ins like the ones I see on the videos. How in the heck can I install plug-ins when I apparently don’t even have the option? Like a lot of ‘starving’ networkers I am willing and able with plenty of talent. I even have a product that is NOT saturated in the market, heck, it actually saves people money just for being a member with a 40K monthly potential residual payout. What do I need to do here?

Jeff Johnson: The tutorials show wordpress.org; wordpress.com does not allow you to use your own plugins.

So it is designed to be installed in your own hosting account with the free wordrpress.org software.

  126. Jeff,

I have many ideas in the area of health/weight loss/wellness. I know it is one of the most competitive markets and my ideas have been extensively researched and sourced. I know they are very unique in this niche and I have a ton to write about. I want to know what is the fastest and most effective way to monetize this? Info products, website? If you could perhaps give me a brief blueprint of where to start.

    Thank You,

    Royce

  127. Jeff,

I know how busy you are with so many members and answering questions..As you are full with your coaching club, do you have any suggestions of where to get mentoring or coaching to get myself going strong?

    Thanks Again,

    Royce.

  128. Gilbert says:

Awesome! Thanks Jeff for all the information here!

    Gilbert

  129. Hi Jeff,

excellent tutorial, I’m just getting into affilliate marketing and have done the 30 day challenge with ryan diess and also completed the google sniper training. I do have to say I find your training just that little better than theirs as i can actually see the hits coming into my site.

I still need to create a capture page and start creating my list but I guarantee i will be following your mailing advice when i do.

Please keep up the good work and it’s reassuring to know when people have asked you for help in their comments you have always helped them.
    I love it, thank you.

Good, The Video shows how to become a super affiliate. But it is long one. Yes become a super affiliate is a great thing. Thanks

  131. Hi Jeff,

I just came across your site and was very impressed. I’m new to the affiliate marketing game with my website. I’m very interested to hear your review of my site and see how you think I could make more money at it.

    Thank you!

    Cameron

Jeff Johnson: Sorry, but I can’t do site reviews on my blog. Too many readers, too little time.

  132. Jeff,

Are you available for a teleconsultation? I require 30mins. I will pay you whatever the fee is. Please contact

    Thanks,

    Royce.

Jeff Johnson: I certainly appreciate the offer but I just don’t do phone consults… too much like work :)

  133. Hi Jeff,

I dont know how I missed this before. There is so much info here, thanks for making this available. And I have a question for you.

Towards the end of the video you mentioned that mails will be printed to blogs – and that somehow creates a “bi link”. Can you elaborate on that please. If we send emails to our list, how is that printed to blogs and how does bi links occur?

Thanks so much and I am going to look out for your next mail …

    Louisa

    • Jeff Johnson says:

I’m sorry but I don’t understand your question.

      But I’ll try to answer…

I send emails to my list that drive the people to my blog to read the rest of the story.

Some people reprint my entire email message on their blog, which also includes the link to the story on my blog…. which creates incoming links.

  134. Hi Jeff,

    Thanks,
    That answered my questions.
    Thanks for reading my mind.

    Louisa

  135. Amazing free content. Strange I got more from you video than most paid marketing programs.

  136. Amazing video, Jeff!

I have been involved in affiliate marketing for 2 and a half years now and I’ve been very successful with it and I can guarantee that things really are this simple. All you need is the right mindset and taking action.

    Much respect,

    Josip Barbaric

  137. OK I will admit I am shocked that this valuable video was not sold to me before I could view it. I have to give it to you on this one Jeff, Job well done! EXCELLENT POST!!!!

    Thanks!

  138. Great video … I got some hot info’s out of it …

    Thanks for sharing.

    Hansjorg

  139. Jo Jeff, me, as an affiliate, want to promote your stuff, but I can’t get the affilate links page … and your support is not answering my mails … so Jeff, are you still there ?? …

    Hansjorg

    PS: try it yourself ?

  140. Any body tell me that affiliate marketing & Viral marketing are same or not? if not, so please ex-plane me about that difference? i am awaiting your response.

    Thank

    Manash

    • Jeff Johnson says:

affiliate marketing means you sell someone else’s product in order to earn a commission, or they sell your product to earn a commission… it’s just like being a salesperson selling cars, stocks, real estate, etc… you make a sale you earn a commission.

Viral Marketing does not require a sale to be made, or even a sale as the end goal. The end goal of viral marketing is to have people like your content or message, or ad so much that they share it with all their friends, families, on twitter, on youtube, via email, on facebook etc.

Your goal is for your message or content to get passed along from person to person like the common cold.

  141. kevin says:

    Hi Jeff,

I just started to follow your blog recently and find that the content you give for free is priceless. Other so called gurus are charging big money for half this content. Any howw, my question is…can you explain a little bit more about setting up the three blogs on different servers and accounts? I have a new product to launch and I want to get it right. By this I mean getting ranked on google’s first page within a day or two. Thanks

    • Jeff Johnson says:

It’s used for building you own incoming links network so you can help your other pages, posts or blogs rank higher. Not much to it… .build three blogs on three different servers and then use them to write posts about something on one of your other sites/pages that you’d like to rank higher, and then include a link in your post to that other site/page.

  142. Been really finding your videos useful and very insightful – most charge a lot of money for the free content you provide, but how about videos on how to become a “Super Vendor”, or interviews with successful vendors?

  143. Soli says:

I have to say that you manage to create the best seo plugin ever saw. I am using it on all my blogs. Great product!!!

  144. Great things you you have on your video…

  145. hi jeff

    midieklate here,

you alway give me valueble informtion about affiliate and online business.

    Thanks for the info.

  146. royce says:

    Hey Jeff,

I have 0 IM experience online. Infact I purchased my first laptop 2 months ago and I just saw your traffic voodoo video. I also just watched the Daegan Smith’s Maximum Leverage video for his course. Im throwing this out there…Could you take someone like me…0 experience, 0success online and guide me step by step through the traffic voodoo process to promote daegan smiths highly acclaimed “maximum leverage” to show how effective your voodoo traffic course is through a newcomer like myself?

    • Jeff Johnson says:

Traffic Voodoo should work theoretcially for any business that operates online… but Traffic Voodoo is not for someone that can’t even upload a page via FTP.

My Underground Training Lab Coaching Club members have access to my tech guys 5 days a week… but you’d still have to be able to do a lot the work yourself… that would be more along the lines, but it’s not open currently.

Plus my “we do it for you’ program is where we install the sites and such for you. But that is 5k upfront and 1k a month… and i haven’t accepted new clients in over a year.

  147. Jeff,
I appreciate all your efforts for those of us who are just starting out. I’m wanting to learn how to drive traffic to my new Energizing Your Health website and am hoping that you can lead the way.
    All The Best.
    Jay

  148. Jeff, you rock man, i am a noob affiliate and your vids and seminars have really blown my mind, i was always pomoting low paying products etc, but now i know the proper formula! promote the right list! high value products, WOW, THANK YOU !

  149. judith says:

This is great. I can see how it will save me a lot of time. Personally I build wordpress blogs sometimes with like 10,000 pages or more :) Thanks to EZ Empire Builder software. So, I have lots of good traffic and rankings now but I still have manually setup my SEO plugins. This will save me time every time a build a blog. THANKS!!

  150. JD Pruitt says:

    Where is the audio version?

  151. Bill Flint says:

How do we find url for log into Aff.prog. ?

  152. jay says:

jeff I have to hand it to you–you do read the comments that come in and your material is the best freebies in the business. Please explain to the wannabes that this IS work and you have to love it. with your help and DEVOTION to a niche that a person can stick to there is no way not to make some real EXTRA income every month. Hey people stop believing sales page hype and take this a step at a time and grow with something you can write or talk about AND enjoy every day. And listen to this guy –believe me I’ve been around and he DOES help the little guy a rare thing indeed. Thanks again Jeff

  153. jay says:

Sorry for the rant guys, here’s the deal–pick a subject you can have some passion about. Use Jeff’s methods–put in some time, keep learning, and ‘holy smokes’ one day you’ll have something very few people can say–a real business. Forget the get rich quick nonsense, and read this guys blog posts and if you can afford it buy his stuff. No I haven’t any other interest with him other than I’ve bought from alot of the ‘other’ guys and Jeff’s stuff is real. One last thing if you are new–stay away from the marketing niche–yeah there’s big money, but the competition and level of expertise doesn’t allow for novices. Pick something you love that has some decent search traffic and follow Jeff’s advise and amaze yourself.

  154. Neil says:

    Hey Jeff,

Just finished watching your kewl video on TrafficVooDoo pre-launch and taking copious notes on the 3 Blog Network routine – good stuff.

Glad I was able to figure out how you’re using Cutline in the mix. Hopefully, this connection will improve the odds of my getting a green light on the affiliate app I submitted a short while ago and hey, if the green light comes in time, I might even root for MSU in the Final 4 even tho I’m a Big Buckeye Fan.

    - Neil

  155. Derek says:

why do you make it soooo difficult to find the audio? ….. still can’t find.

How does “hide and seek” give your customers a better experience?

    Is this a new jj-tactic? :>)

If you didn’t have good stuff, I wouldn’t still be looking and if you….

    • Jeff Johnson says:

What do you mean “find the audio”? There is audio when you play the video but I don’t have a separate audio file available for download… did I mention one in an email?

  156. Derek says:

appreciate your education….. don’t appreciate the deceit. Neither do I appreciate your wasting my time….

Just received this email “Tue, Mar 30, 2010 at 1:40 PM”

I posted a new video to my blog for you.

“How To Become A Super Affiliate In 5 Easy Steps”

    Check it out:
    http://www.undergroundtraininglab.com/975/super-affiliate/

    Enjoy!
    Jeff Johnson

You posted this video 7 months ago. Sure in the big scheme of things 7 months can be considered a “just”.

Was just about to take you up on “Voodoo”.
But you turned me off. Think I’ll pass. Let’s just say you could have chosen your words better….

You could have just said “here’s an oldie but just as relevant today as yesteryear…. I think it’s worth your time”

    • Jeff Johnson says:

It’s called an autoresponder… not always updates but never decietful and the video is still very valid in today’s market.

  157. Nick says:

    Hi Jeff, 2 quick questions.

I’m planning to launch my own website to be an affiliate for several different products. With the 3-blog network, would you say squidoo, ezine, and blogger are good sites in order to generate backlinks?

Also, should I be making multiple accounts on the three blogs to post more blogs directing back to my website, each with unique content?

    • Jeff Johnson says:

any site that allows you to post good content and link back (a link that can be followed by the engines freely) to your money site is a good place to start.

  158. Red says:

Hi Mr. Jeff… I’m Red, 16 yrs old from the Philippines… I’ve been wanting to get started on affiliate marketing and eventually became a super Bajillionaire affiliate marketer on my way…. but I can’t seem to make money and I really suffer from info. overload… Everytime a big name guru release this certain course… I became excited and losszzzzt my focus… Is there any course from you or ur millionaire friends that you can recommend for me to get started in affiliate marketing and became like you ( better than you of course ^_^ ) .. a course about affiliate marketing promoting products that has nothing to do w/ ” make money niche “.. I really appreciate your great content here and hopefully I can meet you in the very near future. thanks Sir.

  165. Stan says:

    Hello,

    Great video!

I just wanted to write in and let you know I tried some of the things outlined here and they seem to work well. I am only using in affiliate program right now that seems to be doing good, but i am really not sure what a good conversion rate is. I am seeing about 1 in 40 for a click through and a conversion for every 1,200 impression the banners are displaying I am getting 1 sale.

    Are these good conversions?

    • Jeff Johnson says:

yes, that’s good. the average banner gets less than 1/4 of one percent click rates or something like that. a 1 in 40 sale rate is excellent for a banner ad.

  166. it’s a nice article… thanks for sharing

  167. Algis says:

    Hey Jeff,

    Worthy to watch video.
Listen, Is it worth to rent email list to
    promote a product faster?

    • Jeff Johnson says:

Absolutely do not rent lists unless you are prepared to have terrible conversion and, worse yet, legal issues such as spam.

I just wouldn’t do it but you really should consult with your attorney for legal advice :)

  168. AWESOME video,

Jeff, you always provide INSANE value,

How to start your online business?

  176. Jeff,

Great video – can’t believe I only just discovered it.

I’m currently service based and have a list around 1,500 subscribers who’re interested in business coaching. What’s a smart way to start with affiliate offers without causing mass unsubscribes?

    Cheers,

    Lee

    • Jeff Johnson says:

Be cool and suggest a product that you have purchased yourself and/or use in your own business. People love that approach, very low key and very powerful.

  177. This was a great video. This is excellent video for new affiliates and seasoned affiliates to learn from.

    Thanks

    Jlee

  178. Hi Jeff,

Awesome video, i’ve got a good couple of pages of notes from it. I loved the mention of setting up three blogs in any new market to use as feeder sites as they gain PR with age, certainly something i will be doing from now on.

One question Jeff, I currently create review blogs and offer small bonuses for each blog i put up if somebody buys the reviewed product through my link, but i would like to get more into setting up sites around bigger launches. Is it possible to compete in the high end 2k product launches without having the resources to create a large bonus package, or should i just focus on lower priced product launches where i could make more of a compatible bonus?

Obviously i would love to try in some of these high ticket launches, but my thought now is that i would probably just be wasting my time if i can’t compete with the other bonus packages that people are able to put together.

    Thanks,
    Paul

    • Jeff Johnson says:

I have many students successfully compete to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars on their first try (or so they claim unsoloicted, but I didn’t review their books or anything like that).

      So yes, it’s definitely possible.

  179. Terence says:

    Greetings Jeff,

Many thanks for the video. :) We should have more people like you around to share such valuable info.

    Regards,

I have found if I have a free gift I do get more people to sign up on my website. I am using resale produces as this is a good way to get people to sign up.

  182. Harold says:

Great video, you can always hire individuals to do most of the work on your website and also find people to write most of you blogging information.

  183. Doris says:

Why do you recommend tubemogul.com to broadcast videos when they forbid any form of affiliate marketing, networking, mlm, home-based business, etc. You are all about affiliate marketing and home-based businesses. (Your blogs are terrific!)

There must be a way to use tubemogul.com that is acceptable or you would not recommend their website to publish videos. How do YOU use tubemogul.com?

Your videos are well presented and you are generous with free content… tips and tricks. Thank you so much.

  185. Trish says:

As always great information. Your videos are so clear and concise. I envy you the ability to put that kind of information into a video format. I can’t seem to get anything I really like when I try it.

  186. Ozcan says:

    Hello Jeff,
I’ve just started my site as a blog on wordpress. Actually I can’t afford a hosting yet so didn’t buy the domain too. Guess what, I can’t even afford an Aweber account :)
I am not going to do a launch, I am planning to promote existing products on my subject.

I’m not sure but as I learned from your stuff this should be my path; I have the main site, I need to build my blogs that are going to link to my main site, then ı need to use openx to create my own ads that are gonna rotate to my main site, then I have to use wordpress plug in to build a list instead of using Aweber because I can’t afford it, and then find an affiliate product and announce it on every site that I have and also mail it to my list.

Well, I live in Turkey and affiliate marketing and my subject are both considered niche in my country. Problem is I can’t find any products (they are mostly written ones and all in English) other than in English.

Is that a mistake to make an approach in Turkish? Do I have to do IM in English? Actually I really wanted to buy AffiliateDotCom bonus but 2000+ bucks?!?

I am a real fast learner and I consumed lots of knowledge in just 5 days but the market I am in just multiplies the level of struggle if it is not.

I am really stuck at the point I am now, and I can’t even figure out what my main question is to take just one step further.

Thanks in advance. Hope to hear you soon.

    • Jeff Johnson says:

If you feel there is enough trafffic and a demand for it in your country, create your own product :)

Thanks. That’s something I’m thinking about but I want to learn how to make this business work first. I need to learn how to mix video and script in a product also. I guess it should be a downloadable mix.
