Internet Marketing With SEO, youtube, Myspace, Facebook, RSS Feeds and More

August 20th, 2008 · 12 Comments

Update: All 18 videos added on September 10th.

In early 2008 I spoke at the Secret Society of Traffic and Conversion Seminar.

The attendees paid thousands to be there but I’m sharing my 3 hour presentation from the seminar with you for free.

During my presentation I outlined the social networking and web 2.0 strategies that I personally use to drive tons of traffic to build my list and make more sales.

I covered dozens of topics including, but not limited to, internet marketing, creating a sales funnel, search engine optimization (seo), myspace, youtube, squidoo, email marketing, wordpress, rss feeds, openx ad server, affiliate marketing, blogs, getting more traffic to your sites, social profile pages, social networking, social media, and more!

We split my entire 3 hour presentation into smaller easier-to-swallow chunks and will be posting them to my blog over the next week or two.

Here are all 18 videos in one easy-to-use video player…

Enjoy!

Just watching them now… Truly awesome stuff. Wouldn’t have expected anything less from Jeff Johnson, but I mean, heck. Great going dude!

Good grief Jeff! The stuff you give away is just amazing. This is how I now perceive you…

JEFF: Alright guys, I’m gonna give you a car.

    Innocent Bystander: Yeh, right…

JEFF: I’m gonna give you a car!

IB: Okay, let me have it, WAH-WAH-WAH… probably a rusted out old Maverick.

JEFF: Okay, open your eyes… here’s your car.

IB: Faints on the hood (sorry sap) of a new 911, uhhhh, his 911 given by Jeff. Jeff giggles, and says, I said I was giving you a car.

I swear, I’ve gotten more out your free material than other material I’ve invested a small fortune in.

So, bottom line to anybody that sees this…

You are looking at the “real” deal. Save yourself a deep swim in the mindless nonsense out there. If you’re not careful, you’ll find yourself piled up with courses that never get read and credit card ills that do.

Take what Jeff offers and run with it.

Feel free to quote me on any of this post Jeff.

    I appreciate all you’ve shared.

    Jeff,

In the videos, you don’t go into detail on what to do with the Yahoo Pipes example. I mean, yes – there are dozens of RSS to post plugins for WP – but truthfully, your digital camera review site looks a bit spammy – you said that was an example of Yahoo Pipes.

Maybe I’m being too picky, but many of your posts there have no content and only the RSS Headline (title). Aren’t you afraid of getting slapped by Google for that?

What would be ideal, in my opinion, is to use something like WP-O-Matic which takes RSS feeds and systematically posts them to your blog – taking a nice feed from Yahoo Pipes that could aggregate RSS feeds to so you could display 10 stories in a post (just the short feeds, cuz that’s all you get anyway). That would be a complete page that would be relevant.

Thanks for any input. I appreciate your time.

Jeff says: Reprinting the entire rss feed article could cause copyright issues.

We post headlines and give attribution which my lawyer feels is best for me.

My system also posts full articles based from datafeeds and articles… you just have to look around to find them on the camera blog.

We use rss feeds to fill in additional content from multiple sources.

We also build sites with video feeds, picture feeds, data feeds and unique articles… but we don’t make those public… once we do everyone knocks us off.

We built the digital camera blog to show my list how quick and easy it can be to get traffic… and it does.

I don’t quite understand what is going on. I looked up the traffic on nintendowiireviewsblog. It is non-existent in compete, quantcast, and alexa. And, further, these pages haven’t been cached in months. so, I am not sure how nearly ANY traffic is being generated here.

I just checked and it was cached in google 4 days ago.

Ranked #5 out of 41,700,000 results on google for nintendo wii reviews .

Compete and alexa are estimation tools… they aren’t perfect.

    I can’t wait for more!

Re: OpenX. I got it and installed it and mostly love it. But, in your videos you mention using Amazon. I can’t see how to setup click tracking for Amazon in OpenX. I must be missing something but I have yet to find any specific example even after publishing the question on the OpenX forum.

Thanks Jeff, It all adds up when we lay the foundations and keep at it!
