Well it’s nice of you to email me with a link to a video that I can’t even watch but I can tell you without even watching it that there is a flaw in it.
That flaw is because many people use the banner links to iframe with which would cause that banner to have major impressions and conversions. So if one is iframing with a banner and is getting alot of conversions, that doesn’t mean it is that banner that is converting at all.
Jeff Johnson says: That’s why I said start with 3 or 4 for testing to see which actually works best for you.
It’s a great place to find starting points for banners and landing pages that convert.
I suggest using openx for the ctr testing.

Also, how do we know if the copy is trademarked if it doesn’t have a TM symbol?

An iframe is an html “trick” that allows you to show another webpage within your webpage.
The used to work for SEO reasons, but no longer that valuable.
now they are used for convenience.

Jeff Johnson: facebook won’t solve your banner building problem, but they are a place to start building a following… but not a site you can control 100% yourself.
the only issue is you can’t collect emails directly on your facebook profile itself; you need to send them to an optin page on your own website to do that.

Jeff, you’re stating that a higher eCPC equals better earnings.
You might want to consider including CTR in that equation.
Jeff Johnson: I believe I did at some point discuss that the numbers aren’t 100% based on multiple factors, but we use them as a guide to start our own testing.

Thanks for the great idea, and video. I seriously never thought of using CJ.com for this type of research, and its a great idea. Obviously, no market research is ever 100% accurate, but its definitely an awesome starting point. I mean, even with a 10-20% fluctuation tolerance, the ad the outperforms the other ad by 300% is definitely better.
