We modify the way we use directories years ago. I just updated my clients on it a few months ago at my seminar. So yes, we still use them, just for different reasons.

I’ve implemented Your SEO plugin but still no sales. However, my traffic has improved considerably. I usually post to FaceBook and twitter quite often which I consider as social bookmarking but it would be nice of you to give a detail break down of what social bookmarking is. And a few social sites that are the best to bookmark too, to start the traffic flowing. Thanks again for the SEO plugin traffic jump start .

Still great tips after several years, funny how the basics don’t change much. I am wondering though if you still submit sites to SEO friendly directories with directory submission services or is that outdated. It doesn’t seem like those are all that effective anymore.

This is Mark.
I gotta hand it to you man: you got the CHOPS !;-)

You seem like a nice guy, so hopefully you won’t mind if I ask you a question?

My blog is brand new and I’m using keyword researched keyword anchor-text articles: I post the exact same article on my blog as well as on another ,”feeder”-site and on a article directory.
So it’s my own duplicate content in 3 places, two pointing back to my blog with those keyword anchor back links.

Could that be wrong?
Could it hurt the ranking of mu blog posts?

Because if the other locations outrank my blog then the blog might not get the listing?
