Yesterday I announced that I’m reopening my Underground Training Lab Private Coaching Club on Monday.
I know it’s not much advance notice, but I really can’t afford to have a huge “launch” on this one.
I’m testing out a new lower priced option and I just don’t have that many seats open.
No big launch, no big sales pitch.
It opens on Monday and could close back down the same day… just like it did the last time I offered new seats to it in December… it sold out in 9 hours.
If you have any questions about what to expect from my private coaching club, or what to expect on Monday…
Please post them as comments here and I’ll try to answer as many as I can.
As of this morning there were already 118 awaiting my approval… I’ll do my best to answer as many as I can.
Update!
I asked people to submit their questions about the club here so everyone could find the answers in one spot.
However, they are still posting them all over the blog.
So feel free to look around in addition to the answers below.
And there are just too many comments for me to respond to right now.
But most of the questions have been answered somewhere on this blog so please be patient and feel free to look around.
See you on Monday at Noon Eastern!

Hi Jeff,
How much will it cost?
Thanks
A few hundred bucks to get started.
Roger Johnson // Jan 31, 2009 at 9:04 pm
Hey Jeff
Enjoy all the training you do.. 1st class stuff.. My only question is, can you/will you reveal the discounted price now, so we can make our decision in advance, and be ready to click on the link on Monday.. or do we have to wait for an email on Monday with price?
jeff Johnson says: The newest level will have payments that start in the few hundred dollar range.

What will the Underground Training Lab instruction and coaching be centered toward? I am very motivated to learn the business but I am old and very new to this internet business. Consequently, I don’t understand much of the “systems”. Also, after 6 years of college and a commercial construction license I have found out that I am a very visual learner…this does effect my speed to learn……
Jeff says: It’s all about more traffic, more leads and more sales.
It revolves around building a business around the traffic and increasing the value of the traffic you receive.
We also get into developing your own products, email marketing, affiilate marketing, blogs, data feeds, etc.
It’s not a “do this one thing and make more money” program.
I try to dump as much business building knowledge into the club as I can.
After 3 years of running an online coaching club I’ve learned to cover a lot of ground.
our training revolves around video tutorials, written process sheets, audios, video presentations, etc.
Plus the access to our technical support forums and me on the calls.
Paul // Jan 31, 2009 at 9:29 pm
What time will the e mail be released on Monday (EST/Central) ?
Jeff Johnson says: the offical open is Noon Eastern.
But the people on my list wil get a head start, as always.
we sold out in 9 hours the last time but I’m trying to design it so we can stay open a little longer this time.
Neil // Jan 31, 2009 at 9:31 pm
What kind of response can we expect to get from your team. Assume i have a technical question about the material or an implementation question, what turnaround time should i expect.
Also, are there any additional tools that we need to buy in addition to the coaching to make the strategies work and if so, what is the potential cost of this
Thanks
Neil
Jeff Johnson says: My guys are in there every day to answer questions and our goal is 48 hours or less. It will depend on how technical your question is.
We give you the tools you need when you are a member of the club.
However, there are those outside the club that I will recommend, but they are optional.
It’s more about learning how to do things the right way to build traffic and a long term sustainable business, and less about some hot tool or technique of the week.
WhoWantsLeads // Jan 31, 2009 at 9:32 pm
Hey Jeff, theres more to learn from your sites for free than most paying sites!
Will you be adding any new techniques thru out the year? Is there a conference involved for members to network? Do you offer “do it for you options”?
Jeff Johnson says: thanks!
Yes, I add new content every few weeks.
there is a conference that will be hosted in May but is not included for free with the lower priced options.
the “we do it for you” level sold out on December 14th and was not an option the last time we reopened.
I’m sorry to say it is still sold out… but the lower levels have the exact same content and is significatnly less expensive for those that prefer “doing it myself” or at least saving a few thousand dollars and learning it so they can have others do it for them.
Joseph // Jan 31, 2009 at 9:53 pm
What is the content?
Jeff Johnson says: It all revolves around Getting you more traffic, more leads and making more sales.
Market research, product development, copywriting, building a sales funnel, SEO, social networks, video, etc.
We also give you custom software to help with driving traffic, creating long tail keywords, creating content on the fly, etc.
And a private membership site with personal access to my guys daily in the fourms, and me via questions and live calls.
The letter will be posted tomorrow and I’ll send out the links.
Sandra Hails // Jan 31, 2009 at 10:06 pm
How do you drive traffic and get conversions?
I drive traffic, but it is at a trickle. I use videos, ping o matic, socialmarker, optin, forums, articles….what can I do to move this forward, and earning now?
Jeff Johnson says: I use blogs, video, social networks, affiliate channels, etc.
A lot of what I use is posted on this blog, but there is only a very, very small part of what I do listed here.
Much of it has to do with the proper design of your sales funnel, your networks, you offers, converting it to traffic, your content sources, your market research, your keywords, etc.
that’s what I teach in the private coaching club.
confused // Jan 31, 2009 at 10:26 pm
where is the price? You said no hype but then there is no price, so it must be a higher bidder scenario … using the lower price “pitch” as the dangling carrot
ps
where are all the other comments posted
Jeff Johnson says: The newest level will be priced with payments that start in the few hundred dollar range.
No bidding, the price will be fixed when I open up on Monday at Noon Eastern.
and no hype… I ‘m not running a launch on this one, didn’t create any new promotional content, didnt’ even tell my affiliates about it until Friday, … nothing you’d see from a normal launch.
We open up on Monday February 2nd at Noon Eastern… final detail will be posted then.

Jeff, I am marketing a web-based software program from a company called Ufirst financial. The product helps people pay off their mortgages and other debts in 1/2 the time. What can your coaching do for me?
Jeff Johnson says: our training includes SEO, blogs, driving more traffic, tapping into social networks for traffic, video selling, selling via affiliate channels, developing new products, copywriting, conversion, email marketing, etc.
If you need more traffic, need to sell more product, need more leads, need to develop new products, affiliate marketing… than this is for you.

I would like to know more about your Underground Training Lab Private Coaching Club “reopening on Monday”. what the prices is and what it includes.
Gunnar Sigfusson
Jeff Jonhnson says: It is a 12 week program.
Daily access to the private membership site.
Daily access to my support forums moderated by my personal staff of site builders, video guys, programmers, etc.
new content I produce.
Special custom software I use in my own business.
process sheets, process maps, audio files, video training, webinars, etc.
Live coaching calls.
If you choose a level that includes it, DVDs from previous seminar, etc.
Everything I offered in December but with more affordable payments.

How much will this cost?
What time on Monday is the launch?
Where exactly will signup take place?
Thank You,
Chris
Monday February 2nd at Noon.
The sign up page will be announced on Monday, as well as the final price.
I’m looking to make the payments as low as a few hundred bucks to start.
David Driscoll // Feb 1, 2009 at 5:42 am
What about the people paying the normal full price??
Jeff Johnson says: There are different price points for different levels of access to me and hard copies of the products.
THe lower price point has the same access to the training content, the support forums, etc. They just don’t get the physical copy of the products, as well as some of the seminar DVDs.
The lower price point is an all-digital version delivered via the web with access to the support forums and membership site.
Plus the $5,000 level that has direct daily access to me sold-out on December 14th and I still don’t have room to accept new students at that level.
And the biggest issue in making something more affordable is to offer generous payment plans, which I am.
Adnan Ali // Feb 1, 2009 at 8:20 am
Hi Jeff,
Is it possible to part of your coaching class virtually? I am in Pakistan and would really love to participate. I find it the greatest gift of USA to the world. I have the same opportunities to influence buying behavior as any one in the world.
Thanks in advance,

Jeff Johnson says: It’s 100% delivered via the web. You can even participate in the calls via skype and such.

Nice Info Jeff. Please Don’t forget to let me know when it officially open, thanks.
Jeff Johnson says: Monday February 2nd at Noon Eastern (New York City time).
Linda // Feb 1, 2009 at 10:41 am
HI,
I looked at this when you last offered it and was very interested. What does this offer entail and what s the price? thanks,
Linda
Jeff Johnson says: It’s the exact same offer as December that sold for as much as $5,000, but I’m offering a much lower starting price.
I’m trying to get the starting cost as low as I can and I’m shooting for a few hundred bucks.
The current program offers direct access to my personal tech guys in the forums, as well as myself.
So it can’t be $97 or anything like that.
But the cost to get started will be significantly lower.
David // Feb 1, 2009 at 10:56 am
Whats the cost?
Jeff Johnson says: A few hundred bucks to start if all goes as planned.
James // Feb 1, 2009 at 10:58 am
Jeff,
Thanks for re-opening the Private Coaching
and lowering the price. I’ve really wanted to join so many times in the past but couldn’t afford to do so. When you opened back up last December for nine hours I bet I was the first one to view the new sales offer after it was uploaded. Still couldn’t afford it man! Too many other promising products have racked up my credit card debt in the past with no returned results.
Here’s my question, Could you offer a special Michigan Rebate reduction for a few seats? Are you laughing? No seriously Jeff- Can you make this such an awesome deal so it can be my final investment to success?<>
James
Jeff Johnson says: Sorry, I can’t help everyone personally, but that’s why I’ve dedcated my career to giving away such high quality content and sofware for free.
However, the start up cost for this will be significatnly lower than I’ve offered in the past.
I hope it helps.
James // Feb 1, 2009 at 11:03 am
Jeff,
Make The Underground Training Lab affordable for me and I’ll be the biggest special case report that you have ever had.
James
jean // Feb 1, 2009 at 12:17 pm
1, If I haven’t done anything else but hire someone to build me a website, am I eligible or do I need more experience?
Jeff Johnson says: I encourage outsourcing but I also encourage people to build at least one site themselves, and my material is step by step.
The real value of the program is learning how I think, having access to me for questions, and to my staff if you get stuck from a technical perspective.
It’s the philosophy of how I do things that I try to teach the most.
2. How long is the course and how many hours would I put in if I wanted to excel working with you.
Jeff Johnson says: Every person is different. However, there’s at least a 100 hours or more worth of material to cover in the 12 week course.
The software can be installed within an hour or two and start driving traffic almost immediately.
But you need an offer to convert that traffic to sales.
Some people report profitable results in the first few days, others months, and other not at all.
If you are a complete newbie you’ll need more time to absorb more of the material.
3. Do we personally get to work with you and do you have other coaches on the team who could also answer our questions in a timely manner?
Jeff Johnson says: My guys are available in the support forums every day to answer your questions and help you when you get stuck with technical issues; they are the same guys that build my sites, and actually work in my office with me.
I also have a full staffed help desk for issues not covered in the support forums.
I’m available every day in the “We do it for you” forums but that level has been sold out since December 14th and I still don’t have room to open it up to new members.
this reopening has access to me via questions submissions that I answer at least once a week, and on the live calls I host every 2 weeks.
4. When the course is over, and I have put my heart and soul into learning about IM, will I be able to have my own business up and running or will I need more training? Of course,, I know the industry is changing constantly and I will always be learning new things, I just want to start earning some money!!!!
Jeff Johnson says: I don’t teach you how to create a PDF book, or how to use microsoft word to write the book itself nor do I teach you to program software.
But we do have complete training for using our software, creating blogs and networks, using social media, selling your products via affiliate channels, selling other people’s products as an affiliate, etc.
And principles and techniques I teach are more proven long term solutions and not “quickie” fixes and tricks.
So… I’ve had people create their first ebooks and do over 50k in a few weeks with my stuff, and hundreds of people get more traffic to their existing websites within a week or two.
Others run businesses selling their SEO services they learn from me.
and others sell websites they build and optmize using my software.
It all depends.
I teach building a business and driving traffic, and converting that traffic to sales.
5. What is my investment in the program.
Jeff Johnson says: The lowest start-up cost I’ve ever offered for the UTL club, or any other that I remember.
But it is still going to be more than your average ebook.
It’s a great value for what you can learn and the support we are willing to give.
Thank you for responding to my questions and I look forward to becoming one of your students.
Sincerely
Jean
Krizia // Feb 1, 2009 at 12:38 pm
I just posted a comment, but I’m not sure if it was delivered???
Krizia // Feb 1, 2009 at 12:44 pm
It seems that my initial comment was not received.
I have a beauty blog now that is bringing a few affiliate sales. Jan09 is my best month since launching in June 07. During the first 6-8 mos I made less than $100 per month with the site.
As a former personal cheff + I’ve been studying nutrition for over 10 yrs, I’ve decided to launch a nutrition blog in Feb09. Also, I’m launching a new clickbank product for the beauty blog.
I’ve followed 2 coaching programs at $97/mo since Jan08 and have made some progress, but nothing that would allow me to quit my contract work on the side.
I’ve not jumped in yours because of cost. So what does “lowest price” means?
Would I be a good candidate to help boost my online businesses since I’m not a total newbie and have some outsourced staff that can help?
I watched the video here: http://www.undergroundtraininglab.com/306/coaching/. I assume, that’s all the info I need to understand the core?
Thanks Jeff!
Jeff Johnson says: Great, selling your own product with my methods is the best thing to do.
It’s not a “newbie” club.
Our technical “how to do it” material is newbie friendly but it was designed to train our own staff and/or outsourcing agents… which I encourage.
My favorite traffic source comes from affiliates selling your products, and clickbank is what I recommend for most.
I also focus a great deal on blogs and affiliate marketing – selling other people’s stuff in addition to your own.
As for the cost… It’s the lowest initial payment I’ve offered, and significantly lower than the average price I’ve charged in the past.
Stay tuned for Monday!
Krizia // Feb 1, 2009 at 1:33 pm
Thanks Jeff!
Ok – I’ll stay tunes and watch my email on Monday.
I feel that now that I have a focus with 3 sites, this year could be the year where I jump to being a full time media company owner.
Thanks!
Krizia // Feb 1, 2009 at 1:41 pm
BTW, I used this technique to create my soon-to-be released clickbank product:
http://www.undergroundtraininglab.com/infoproduct-secrets/
That was really an huge eye-opener for me and I still use the techniques to quickly create free bonus products.
Krizia // Feb 1, 2009 at 3:07 pm
What happens at the end?
1) Jeff if this lower price level doesn’t include the hard copy, what happens after 12 weeks … does the membership closes and we won’t have access to the program/material? Or will be still be able to continue learning.
Jeff Johnson says: you can download the training PDFs and audios during the first 12 weeks.
And I’ll offer an upgrade option for the physcial course if you need it.
2) Also, do you plan on reopening that level in the near future?
Jeff says: I won’t know until after i see how this test turns out from a workload (for us) standpoint.
3) So to make sure I understand – we don’t have access to you and your guys won’t build things for us, but we can still have access to them for our questions via the forums, right?
Jeff says: Yes, you have daily access to the support forums.
4) Will there be an option to upgrade fro the “lowest price” to the “with hard copy” price option down the road?
Jeff says: Yes, that sounds like a reasonable thing for us to offer.
Thanks again!
Noah // Feb 1, 2009 at 11:39 pm
Hey Jeff, I really like your youtube videos and the content you create. I have a few questions about the course you will be offering. Currently I am making three hundred dollars a month off ebay, but I have never really succeed in the clickbank world.
What I would like to get out of the course is:
1. How to launch a product
2. How to succeed with affiliate marketing and clickbank
3. How to build a list
4. How to pick a niche
5. How to run a blog
6.SEO
Will you be going over those thing in the course?
Jeff Johnson says: Yes to all but possible the “how to launch a product”. i have 15 hours worth of videos of Frank Kern and Jeff Walker who are the product launch kings.
And I talk about what I do but I don’t have a formal “product launch” module in the club, at least not yet.
Thank you Noah
Daniel // Feb 1, 2009 at 11:43 pm
Hi Jeff,
Your online success is phenomenal and mind blowing and for you to make your business philosophy available to the public, that is admirable. Quick question, when you mention utilizing your software – can that be explained a bit more – aside from the actual costs of joining the program, what other monthly fees are associated with regard to ‘Software’ involved in the program?
Thank you for your time and help.
Daniel
Jeff Johnson says: The software is included as part of the membership so no additional monthly fees are required.
any other additional tools or techniques you really, really need are either free, or very low cost.
Hosting accounts are about $10 a month.

Hi Jeff,
I applied a theme to your free seo blog and received a comment in less than a week. That has never happened before. Best part is that it was not comment spam.
I’ll be working toward affording this course, but can’t just yet. I lost too much money last year trying to make money. I’m still in Sandra’s shoes.
Chris // Feb 3, 2009 at 11:24 am
Hi,
I am unclear as to when we would have access to the professional seo blog software.
If my intention is to develop a site in real time during the 90 day training process, will I have access to the professional seo blog software during the 90 days, in module 2, or have to wait until after the 90 days and it is physically shipped out?
Thank You
Jeff Johnson says: The atm pro sofware is given to you the first day, the professional blog software is given to you with module two, which starts with the second week.
Rob // Feb 5, 2009 at 9:06 pm
Hi Jeff,
i am wondering that if a member leaves your club, is he left with nothing?
Also, another question;
i have a server of my own. Do club members have to use your hosting services?
Again, once you have paid the initial fee, what is the monthly membership cost?
thanks again,
Rob
Jeff Johnson says: The PDF files of the transcripts, the process sheets, the articles, etc are yours to download and keep.
The audio files are also yours to download and keep.
The videos are not currently available for download but we are working on it.
John Chatman // Mar 23, 2009 at 8:19 pm

I just found your site and just had to say…WOW. You give more than most folks charge for.
Now I just missed the last opening can you tell me when you are going to re-open the club?
Thanks,
John
Michael // May 6, 2009 at 9:07 am
I see the payment plan option
- could the payments be lowered?
Jeff Johnson says: I removed the 4 pay option once we sold-out the original 50 seats.
There’s still a 2 pay option and a “seat only” option, but the whole thing is going to be taken down within the week.
Sorry, but I really can’t afford to go any lower this close to the event and with so few seats left.
wale // Jan 18, 2010 at 11:09 am
