Jeff,
I love all of your Yahoo Pipes info but I have a issue when I use it. I’ve installed it correctly and when I get the feed for a keyword like “six pack abs” my content is chopped up.
For example, this is what will post to my blog
“The best way to get six pack abs is with these 12 flat stomach exercises”.
It obviously is an incomplete article. How do I fix this?
Thanks
Jeff Johnson says: It doesn’t pull articles, only excerpts.
our article database if for full articles via rss feeds.
Yahoo pipes is for supplemental content only… just something to automate posts to the blog along with original content, articles, press releases, and data feeds.

Jeff,
Thanks. One more question
You said
“our article database if for full articles via rss feeds”
What do you mean by this? Use article databases for full articles via rss feeds? How so? Or do you mean that you have a article database (ATM Pro?) for full articles via rss feeds.
Thanks for everything Jeff
Jeff Johnson says: We have built an article database that then produces rss feeds for us and our clients based on keyword requirements. It is not available to the general public.
ATM Pro is not an article source, it extracts content, images and keywords from data feeds.

Jeff and Anthony,
Love that you guys hooked us up with the pipes tool. It’s great, but since you posted, Technorati has changed it’s rss feed structure. So the Keyword Search Pipe comes up with alot of bad posts.
Any chance you guys could update the feeds? I took a look at the source, but it’s a little over my head. Or maybe just some pointers to edit/create our own pipes.
Thanks
Jeff Johnson: Sorry, we announced that we we no longer supporting our yahoo pipes tool over a year ago. We must have missed a few pages that still linked to it.
The problem was that yahoo told us the tool was too popular and had too many users, so they kept limiting our client’s access to the tool.
So we discountinued development of yahoo pipes and moved ahead with TGSP instead.

Bummer,
Well it’s a great tool, and I’ve still had success using it to jumpstart some blogs. I was able to do some editing to the source code and I have an image of the new paramaters to get yahoo search and digg search rss working.
I had to remove Technorati all together. I’d like to send the image to share with people so they can continue using it if they have feeds that are breaking.
However, the notes are:
Remove the Technorati Search.

The community has always helped me, I hope this helps a few people out.
Jeff Johnson: Thanks for sharing the fix!
