G’day from Australia and many thanks for this opportunity to get some Case Studies as well as the Software. I was just a bit concerned if it would work on a Wordpress blog though?
Many thanks once again.
Dave
Jeff johnson says: It’s a self contained custom version of wordpress with bells and whistles added.
And the traiing will pretty much work with any website, not just blogs.
you can even apply the training to your current blogs.
cmoore // Nov 20, 2008 at 11:58 pm
Jeff – if it’s a self-contained version, and a lot of people will likely be using it, are you at all concerned that it’ll leave a bit of a footprint that G might not look on favorably?
Thanks,
Chris
Jeff Johnson says: There’s nothing sneaky about it so a footprint shouldn’t be a problem.
The only true “footprint” that is different from wordpress is the configurations we’ve optimized via coding and plugins and the link to us, which can be removed.
It is optimized using the guidelines google themselves recommend.
Millions of people use blog software that is the “same”.
You can actually change the entire look and feel of the website.
what matters is what type of conent you feed the blog. If you use junk, then it it junk.
If you use quality content, then it it quality.
This blog is built with it.
And so are tens of thousands of other blogs.
No two will ever be the same from a content standpoint.
The next step is promoting it, which we’ll cover soon.

Hey Jeff,
Morning. Just wondering if you planned on upgrading to a newer version of wp soon. I noticed that the date for the current files is 2/08 and there’s been a few wp upgrades since then.
Thanks jeff. I appreciate it. Have a good day.,
Steve
Jeff Johnson says: stability of the program is why we are using it.
None of the wp updgrades since then have improved upon the seo effectiveness of our package so..
We take stability first.
However, we are updating our professional version as we speak so you may see an update of the free version soon.
Plus you can always install ours and then do a quick 5 minute upgrade to the new wp if you’d like.
Just be sure to follow our tutorials on this blog.

Hello Jeff:
The THEME utilized for this WP static website is:
– Destiny | http://www.freewordpressthemes.com/themes/3182/
The GRAPHIC is gorgeous… and beautifully compliments the topic of my
Merchant Cash Advance consulting service.
QUESTION-1: Is this THEME compatible with the Free SEO Blog installation?
QUESTION-2: If not, does Free SEO Blog SW offer a comparable THEME?
QUESTION-3: WHERE can THEMES be VIEWED prior to download?
Thank you in advance for a prompt and detailed response.
Gratefully,
Alan

I know that if one has nothing nice to say, he shouldn’t say anything but that means you won’t get valuable feedback from people who might otherwise READ what you have to say.
So here’s my problem: I can read ten times faster than you can speak and there’s a lot that I have to do everyday. There’s no way that I’m going to set aside 20-30 minutes everyday to listen to your audios. All it takes is 16 to 20 marketers with similar demands and a solid 8 hours of my time is used up listening to audios or videos. I already have a system that works and because of that, I’m very busy.
The irony of this is that if I’m convinced that your method is better, I’d be one of the few people who would take action on it. That’s because I’m already in an action mode which is why I don’t have the time to listen to your daily audios.
Jeff Johnson says: Great, I have a ton of written training material for my clients, thousands of pages. I’m sure you’ll find it useful.
But just as many people find audio and video useful, so I mix it up.
Thanks for the feedback.
Jerry // Nov 23, 2008 at 7:48 am
Jeff,
I posted this on the install page but it never showed up. I followed all instructions precisely, in fact twice, and still get errors.
Installed, deleted, installed again. Same. This is the error that won’t go away:
“Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp() in /home/guamsurv/public_html/misimulcast/wp-blog-header.php on line 18″
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Anthony Montalbano says: Typically this message means that a file maybe corrupt and not uploaded completely. I would try to just reupload the wp-blog-header.php file and see if this works. Also, you may want to try to build a blog on a different webhost and see if it works.
@JimLittlefield // Nov 24, 2008 at 9:43 am
I agree with Marc but would suggest giving a summary of the audio/video program so readers can prioritize what they spend time listening to vs. reading (scanning)
I’d also appreciate knowing how long the audio program is before starting it.

Jeff,
I registered for the Stomping The Search Engines 2 through your link. You promised a website as a bonus. You wrotedt that you would give me details when you got back from Vegas.
I haven’t heard anything else.
When do I get my FREE website?
Jeff Johnson says:
Sorry, but stomping the search engines 2 was a free product. I don’t build websites as a bonus for free products. There must be a misunderstanding.
I’ve only offered that bonus for products that sell for $2,000 or more.
Actually, I do show you as having purchased plf 2.1+ from my link.
We’ve sent you and the others at least 2 emails about your bonus items.
Our emails must be lost somewhere along the way.

Think I am having problems with this blog. I just tried posting.
Did I miss out on any tutorials for this SEO Blog software. Listening to that interview their is talk of automated content from RSS feeds, social media etc.
Is this stuff going to be covered in your future posts …
I have been tinkering with Joomla for creating a few niche sites. But Joomla can take a little effort. I may revert to wordpress and check this out, see how they fair ..
thanks
Jeff Johnson says: Yes, the tutorials will be sent to you via email over time. One step at a time.
I spoke of using RSS feeds for content but that’s not something we fully support for the free version, I was speaking of my coaching clients and in general.
But we do have a free tool to use for experienced users only:

After failing at getting a money making web site, I am now going to blogging. I am so grateful for the opportunities you are giving so many of us.
My concern is this. I would like a chart or graphic that explains getting a blog set up thusly. Step one, step two, etc. but emphasize and be sure you complete each one before going to the next. —-Lastly, does each blog niche or sub niche topic require new domain name that has that niche keyword in it? Thanks. CJ
Jeff johnson says: My UTL coaching club is designed for step by step instructions and builds on each lesson.
It hasn’t been open since June but we are opening it up again for new students on December 4th.
Each blog niche should be on it’s own domain, but a sub-niche can be on the same domain as related sub-niches or the master niche it belongs to.
Vic // Nov 26, 2008 at 2:33 pm

I host some wpmu blogs but have never set up a wp on my hosting. I have blogger and hubpages. Anyway I am looking forward to trying your software. May even start blogging about your service to be launched just as soon as I figure out exactly what you are promoting. Your site is pretty slick.
I just wonder if there is any problem with using that blog software for a gambling blog, sans adsense of course. I just happen to have a nice aged .com that would fit a gambling theme.
Note re security code, I am an old person and sight is not great – Understand the necessity of security but have so much trouble reading them
Anthony Montalbano says: The blog software is design to set up an optimized blog for SEO. It is an extension of features and plugins to the popular blog software Wordpress. Since Wordpress can be used for virtually any niche of blogging, our free blog software applies as well.
Andrew // Nov 27, 2008 at 4:33 pm
Jeff or Anthony,
I have uploaded the SEO software and created my blog with no problems until I created my first post. While creating the post I noticed that there is no editor for posting- creating links,ad pics, bold lettering etc. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions? Is there a plugin that I should upload?
Andrew Murphy
Anthony Montalbano says: Login to your blog, and then click on Users in the top right. Click ‘Your Profile’. Make sure that the check box is set for Visual Editor, and click ‘Save’. This should fix your problem.
Life Planner // Nov 28, 2008 at 8:45 pm

Hey Anthony,
For some reason there is no “visual editor” within my profile. I know where it is supposed to be but it’s not there. Any suggestions….
Anthony Montalbano says: That’s very strange, I would probably try to reupload the wp-admin folder. Make sure the user you are using is the ‘admin’. That would be what I do, it should be there, make sure to click ‘Your Profile’.
David // Nov 29, 2008 at 2:17 am
The password and user name sent to my email, doesn’t work. Tried 5 times….no spaces and still doesn’t allow access!
I am unable to download the seo blog software.
Please tell me how to get access!
Anthony Montalbano says: Try to manually type in the username and password. Make sure your caps lock is off (it is case sensitive). Sometimes copy and paste picks up “extra” characters.

It seems to take the post but I’m concerned about the errors. Any thoughts?
Anthony Montalbano says: A couple of things. First, try to deactivate the wp-auto-tagger plugin, then reactivate it. If nothing, have you recently upgraded the wp-auto-tagger plugin? I highly suggest you do this, it will clean up the bugs with older versions of the plugin. Just a note, yes the blog post is posting, its just not auto generating tags for the post. But trying my suggestions above should help alleviate your problem.

Hey Jeff-
Wondering about all the tags that are automatically picked up and added. Will that make the search engines mad? I took them off my sidebar because they set up wrong – but when I post – I click on tags I don’t want in that post but they still end up under tags.
Other than that – this is great. I’ve had my site up for 2 weeks so anxious to see when it starts drawing traffic
Jeff Johnson says: Tags help increaese the indexability and usabilty of your site.
You can insert tags by hand in each post to override the auto tag feature.
But you really should use tags of one form or another… the search engines find them, and the end users find them in the search results on hundres of websites.

quick note to the ‘I hate audio/video’ guys. I too prefer reading. Here’s what I do: download the MP3 (Jeff is nice enough to provide them) and then crank up the speed in media player (2x speed) or quicktime player (up to 3x speed).
A mini-case study showing the effects of Jeff’s SEO Blog, have a look at my blog: http://selfemployedmastery.com/ where the latest post shows you what happened in a case where I didn’t do *anything* to promote the blog (and still get well over 1200 (and steadily rising) unique visitors a month. Hi Jeff, Love your stuff, and this was a great call. I’m really impressed by the audio quality you get on your calls. Can you give a few tips on how you achieve that, like what microphones or headsets you use, and what call service you use? It’s so refreshing to hear such good call quality compared to most teleseminar recordings which kinda hurt my ears with distortion.
Jeff Johnson: Glad to hear it.
Actually, sometimes my guys need to use adobe soundbooth to juice the levels… but only if we get stuck using someone else’s service for the call.
My calls are recorded using an quality condensor micophone ($249), a digital innkeeper ($1200) to control mixing my voice with the other callers, and external usb sound card ($250).
For laptop stuff I use a samson c03u or blue snowflake usb microphone.. .both great.
The software I use alternates between sony audio forge, audacity, and/or adobe soundbooth. It all depends on who is doing the final editing.
The calling service you use, from a quaity of sound standpoint, is less critical.
However, choosing one with more bells and whistles could cost you $500 or more a month.
I’ve use several services from http://www.freeconferencecall.com/
And I use the lines provided by gotowebinar.com
