Here’s the PDF of the slides used in the video:
31240 unique visitors in 31 days PDF
Here’s the background on my Free SEO Blog Software and why I use it to bring in thousands of unique visitors a day in highly competitve markets and all of it from free search engine traffic.
Last November I hosted my GetMoreTrafficBlueprint.com Workshop for 50 attendees who paid $2,500 and $5,000 to attend the 3 day live event.
One of the systems I taught them was how I use a highly modified version of wordpress (my free SEO blog Software) to build search engine friendly sites.
I also showed the attendees how to jumpstart long-term sustainable free search engine traffic to their new SEO blogs with a few of my completely white-hat but extremely powerful techniques.
Building the site by hand and jumpstarting the traffic took less than 45 minutes… and then we just walked away…
The site has been on auto-pilot ever since.
Within the first 21 days that site hit 1,327 unique visitors a day…
For a total of 14,250 unique visitors in the first 3 weeks…
All from free search engine traffic.
And within the first month (31 days to be exact) it hit 2428 unique visitors a day…
For grand total of 31,240 unique visitors in its first month.
And we only spent 45 minutes building and promoting the site… and then we just walked away while the site just kept grabbing free traffic and making sales to this very day.
Get this… the site was competing in the highly competitive, and quite profitable, HDTV market.
Free traffic in a highly competive market for 45 minutes of my staff’s time.
Since they get paid $8/hr I’d say the entire site cost me less than $20.
I made that back from my first HDTV sale…
And the free search engine traffic is still rolling in to this day…
Here are two screen shots from my web stats software that show the free traffic build up during the site’s first 31 days:

Basically it comes down to this:
If you don’t have my free SEO Blog Software yet download it right now.
It’s absolutely free.
And once you download it I’ll teach you how to use it more effectively to grab your share of the free search engine traffic I just know is out there waiting for you.
Heck, even if you don’t want the software you should still sign up for it… just don’t insall it.
That way you’ll still get the free “get more traffic” training I’m sending out to the Free SEO blog software list.

I have a couple of ideas for some new domains I just registered and I am going to use this software to set them up.
Thanks again for all the great free content you put out. I am going to send you a bottle of scotch for Xmas this year!

Hi Jeff!
That’s very nice, but there are a few questions:
1) How do you promote the site
Jeff says: You are in the SACC, right? That’s all in there… every last bit. And the version of the blog software in there is much, much more powerful.
We’ve added hundreds of pages of content so if you haven’t logged in recently you should.
2) Is it a stand alone site or is part of a network
Jeff says: We promote them with incoming links, build them as part of small networks, and build supporting micro-sites for them. Not nearly as hard or time consuming as it sounds
3) How much money those 31240 bring into your pocket
Jeff says: Hard to say (I don’t keep track of that stuff… I just look at the reports and tell my staff what to do). We don’t capture email on those sites but I believe we made enough those first 31 days to pay for the site, the labor to build it, the hosting, the domain, etc for several years.. and we didn’t put more than 45 minutes into it including building and promotion.
I believe I sent the attendees an email update after the seminar that stated we earned several hundred dollars in commissions from this site and one other we built there.
Plus I was offered cash from a company that wanted to buy links on it; 25 dollars per link and they wanted to place 4 or five of them to start with the promise of more.
At the seminar where I taught this stuff we also built a membership site that signed up hundreds, even thousands, of members in the first 30 days of a promotion. And that was before I revealed it to the attendees so they weren’t the ones signing up.
Thx,
Valeriu

Will this work with small niches?
i.e “Africa Pink Elephant Kakoo bird” as in there aren’t alot of rss feeds on the topic.
Jeff Johnson says: You do not have to use RSS feeds for your site.
It is actually better if you have a large volume of unique content to add to your site.
If you have a small niche like “Africa Pink Elephant Kakoo bird” I’d imagine you already have your own content ready to go
I use RSS feeds with my SEO blog software so I can quickly and easily roll out dozens of sites every week or two in highly competitive markets.
But you don’t have to. I teach my clients to augment their own content with articles and rss feeds to increase the number of posts, and the frequency of posting on their sites; that helps you grab more traffic.
4 Dave // May 2, 2008 at 1:38 am
Jeff, I’m confused, did you build this site with the Free software you are promoting or with a “better” version of it that you are offering to your SACC members?
Let’s say I wanted to do something like this and use datafeeds and I purchase and use your Affiliate Traffic Machine Pro software. Will that be enough? Will that combination alone be all that it takes to be successful with datafeeds and rss and or articles, or will I still need to buy something like RSS2BLOG also? Will this SEO Blog software or Affiliate Traffic Machine Pro update the blogs automatically with RSS, articles, and datafeeds? Does the Traffic Machine Pro have to be installed on my server and run with cron jobs etc, or can most of this be done with a Wordpress plugin? I know I am rambling, but I think you get my point.
Thanks
Jeff Johnson says: Actually, I haven’t “promoted” my Super Affiliate Coaching Club in this process. The SACC has been closed to new members for almost a year now.
And Affiliate Traffic Machine Pro, along with the video tutorials that come with it, will show you how to use it and blogs to build sites that are automatically updated with data feeds and rss feeds, as well as give you access to hundreds of pre-configured data feeds. And you don’t need rss2blog if you use it. However, ATM Pro isn’t for complete newbies.
I’ve tried to make this SEO blog software as easy to use, install and configure as possible based on my extensive experience with blogs.
The software used to build this site and the sample sites is based on the Free SEO Blog software package I’m giving away.
But my guys use other tools to help “tweak” it.
That includes using my free rss feed button tools, RSS “content” plug ins, adobe software to create the custom headers and banners, etc.
But the basics are all in the free SEO blog software; that along with the tools and training videos I’ll give you will be more than enough to get you started.
The true value will come in the training that goes along with the installation package.
I won’t lie to you and tell you I’ll share everything I know… I can’t possibly do that for free… that would take way to long to include in a few blog posts… and my paying clients would be upset!
But I’ve made my name online by giving away free content, training, and tools that are as good, if not better, than what thousands of people are charging you for… or so I hope
And that’s what this site is all about… quality content and training for free in hopes that you guys find enough value in it to buy my products and/or recommend my sites to your friends and lists.

Jeff,
Do the search engines penalize for having too many articles from external sources? I know a site with unique content would probably do better, but have you seen sites get penalized for only having articles from journals, trade pubs, magazines, newspapers, etc… and not enough unique content?
Jeff Johnson says: The key is to get as many high-quality incoming links to various posts on the site as possible, and mix and match the different content types all together; post articles, then rss feeds, then press releases, then your own content, then pictures, then data feeds… in a random order over and over again.
6 Jim // May 2, 2008 at 11:52 am
Do you recommend the Squarespace.com service for setting up a blog or do you only work with Wordpress? Thanks Jim
Jeff Johnson says: I’ve used, and do use, blogger.com, wordpress, radio userland, moveable type, drupal, joomla, phpnuke, and a slew of other blog software and services.
I’ve never used the one you mention.
My favorite by far is wordpress for ease of use, installation, and flexibilty… it let’s us tweak the hell out of it.

Hi Jeff,
I receive your information through Jeff Mulligan, he email me concerning your underground marketing. I first, I was skeptical did not know who in the world you were. After reviewing your blog and watching the videos. I was amazed by your results and I’m know I can do the same thing. So I would like to learn from you as much as I can.
I have been online eating (reading) everything I can about Internet Marketing, I’m certain aware of the importance of one way links for search engine and however, I need help in doing it in a massive scale. I want to learn how you are able to make in the search engines in 24 hours. I think I have an idea how you do it. I won’t say it here. I thank God for getting your information
Jeff Johnson says: Getting the incoming links and the quick search engine listings are all here… you just have to learn how to scale it out… think big!
9 Claude // May 8, 2008 at 3:51 pm
By the Thank you for the free content
10 Claude // May 8, 2008 at 4:25 pm
Where is the getting the search listings information here?
Jeff Johnson says:
1. Download and install the Free SEO Blog Software first.
Be sure to confirm your request to download the software.
2. Add content to your site, you’ll need more than a few pages to make it work.
3. Download the social bookmarking tutorial
4. Run your social bookmarking campaigns.
5. Watch the tutorials at Jeff Johnson Videos
6. Keep checking your email for new tutorials, and check back with this blog.
7. Add more content to your site.
The real trick is to get your blogs started aging in the search engines right away. Once they’ve been around for some time you’ll be able to simply put a link on your older blogs to your new ones and they’ll get in the engines right away… that’s not quite all there is to it but that’s enough to get started for now.
11 Claude // May 8, 2008 at 5:04 pm
Great information, that sounds great, thank you. I’m hoping to join your coaching. Do you know when it will be available? Do you have any products I can buy to get the rest of the steps you just listed?
Jeff Johnson says: If the traffic would just die down here I’d be able to open it back up sooner
We are shooting for May 15th.. but that may not happenon time given this monster we’ve created.
About the other product, sorry, but those are all in my coaching clubs.
But I plan on releasing some of it here for free if I can find the time
12 Claude // May 9, 2008 at 5:49 pm
Can you tell me how much it will cost? So, I can be ready to go, when you are able to open back up again.
Jeff Johnson says: I have no idea on the price, sorry. I’m still deciding on what I would like to offer… which would dictate the price.
But I’ll sure to let everyone konw when I do.
Thanks for asking!

Hi – Really great stuff. Know it works. Well done. Best regards Allen
PS There are two simple tags plug ins that I would recommend. One does the Technorati tag thing, one does the other. Both called Simple Tags which is confusing..
Jeff Johnson says: We’ve used them extensively, but formatting can be a problem with different themes so we rely on the built in wordpress tags and theme widgets to deal with them… much easier for less experienced clients.

Jeff Johnson says: Yes and no. Have a home base business.Trying to get more leads and traffic. My website contains information on bussiness oppotunity, fresh air systems(solving indoor air pollution),Living water systems, laundry pure(no detergents required),PowerwoRX Energy management systems, nutrion. Can this software help me.
Jeff Johnson says:Yes, believe any busines online that is trying to build a realationship with clients, build leads, or trying to educte potential clients on the benefits of their clients should have a blog.
This software is a SEO customized install package for a blog; it helps bring taffic to your site but you have to add the content and know how to convert traffic to leads and sales.
My training helps with all aspects of the equation.

Jeff (or Jeff’s staff that will be responding) – Hello again,
I have been using a WP plugin called “all in one seo pack” and it seems to be pretty good, do you have any experience with it or of any conflicts with your version of WP???
Thanks again,
John
Jeff Johnson says: That’s actually in this free seo blog software package.
We just pre-configured it to my settings instead of the default settings but feel free to change it to whatever you’d like.
Some of our other hacks, though, our done at the theme level and at the code level so I wouldn’t mess around with those.
19 Federico // May 12, 2008 at 8:54 am
Jeff,
Can I use your software for spanish language Blogs, content and keywords?
Thanks,
Federico
Jeff Johnson says: yes, I’d imagine you couldl. we use translator plugins on some of our themes.
20 chris // May 12, 2008 at 5:26 pm
Jeff,
I don’t blog, but I am interested in the software.
Can I use it for a regular website?
If not, do you plan on updating it so that it can be used on either a blog or a regular website?
Jeff says: a blog is a content management system; you can set them up to behave like a website.
Just write “pages” instead of posts.
the promotion techniques work on static sites as well.

Hi Jeff,
First off thanks for all you do. There are a couple other big name marketers out there who really do provide solid content in their newsletters ad aren’t always trying to make a sale, but none that I know can match what you provide the general public.
I’ve read some of your replies to people on this thread and I ended up with a few of my own after reading your replies, particularly the ones you made to Dave // May 2, 2008 at 1:38 am higher up on the page.
1.) You said: “But my guys use other tools to help “tweak” it.
That includes using my free rss feed button tools, RSS “content” plug ins, adobe software to create the custom headers and banners, etc.”
What did you use for the RSS content? Is that from your pipes software?
Jeff says: Yes, and other tools
2.) You said: “But the basics are all in the free SEO blog software; that along with the tools and training videos I’ll give you will be more than enough to get you started. The true value will come in the training that goes along with the installation package.”
I’ve downloaded your free blog software and am of course signed up on your email list yet the only training videos I’ve seen are the installation videos and how to change the sites theme.
Jeff says: There are quite a few more tutorials about SEO, video, product creation, etc.
Just check the left sidebar of this blog
Though I’ve downloaded the software I haven’t actually installed it on my host yet because I really didn’t see a point of doing that without the training video’s needed to reproduce the wildly successful blog site you created to get the 31,240 visitors you’ve gotten (not that I need or expect that many myself). Installing the software is only the beginning. What I’d really like is a step by step process to reproduce what you did (using a different niche of course) which I assume is what your training videos cover, is that right? If you sent the links to these training videos then I apologize, I simply don’t seem to have that email, perhaps one of your staff members wouldn’t mind re-sending it to me. Thank you in advance!
Jeff says: All of that is on this blog. product creation, market research, viral video, social bookmarking, traffic getting jumpstart master plan, etc. Just look around. It’s all laid out for you.
3.) You mention in your video above that a big part of your sites success was due to you giving away free software or plug-ins to get thousands of one way back links. I’m not a software developer and I’d venture to say most people downloading your software aren’t either so does that mean there is no way we can reproduce your success? Should we then stick to lower traffic low competition niches since we won’t be able to get the massive back links necessary to compete in these big market like you did with your blog?
Jeff Johnson says: I’m not a programmer either.outsource it use the tools mentioned on this site.
4.) I checked out your http://www.affiliatetrafficmachine.com sales page and it sounds like an awesome piece of software. Couple questions about it though as I couldn’t find a Contact Us link to ask questions.
Jeff says: http://www.affiliatetrafficmachine.com/helpdesk/
Q1: Can we only install ATM on a single blog or a single host or what? I ask because there is an option to purchase a second copy for a discount so if we’re allowed to create more than one site with it I don’t see why anyone would need to buy a second copy of the software.
Jeff says: ATM pro can be used to build an unlimited number of sites; it is desktop based, not server based.
Q2: What if the keyword we use has only a small data feed output, can we use multiple keywords to potentially find more products so our blog can have the potential to be a larger site with more pages?
5.) you mention on your video above that you give this stuff away for free in the hopes of some of us hiring you and I think I read a comment from you someplace else that you offer your SACC members the opportunity to have your staff create mini-nets using your blog software for a price.
How can we hire you (actually your staff) to do this and how much does this cost?
Jeff says: they are not for hire on a project by project basis. They only do the work for my coaching clients, but only at higher price points. The new UTL that launches on June 3rd will have that option.
Is the SACC membership opening up again soon and if so what is the time frame and projected cost for that?
Jeff Says: It is part of my Underground Training Lab opening up on June 3rd. Cost to be announced at a later date.
If we build our site using your free version of your software now can they be upgraded if we became SACC members and then had access to the more powerful version of the software?
Jeff says: Yes, we normally offer upgrade paths. Even if it isn’t possible the free version is worth intsalling.
Thank you for your time. I know that was a lot of questions (did I exceed my 15 minutes of fame!).
Stephen

I’ve set up the blog, and everything is working great, but there is no stats on the blog. I downloaded stats.1.3.4 and unzipped it but I don’t know where it goes when I upload it. And can I put google analytics on the blog
Jeff Johnson says:
Yes, you can use goolge analytics on the blogs, we do.
You say you downloaded the stats 1.3.4 and unzipped it. I’m hoping you mean you unzipped it on your server in the proper area.
