    Hey Jeff,
Yes, it sure was a hectic time. Hope you achieved the kind of results you hoped for.

As for the free content, it would be nice to pick up on social marketing, or youtube marketing.

Hope you have a great weekend planned.

  6. Hi Jeff,
I love to see a free content about list building, since i think its one of the most important thing to learn. How to build and how to make a relatioship with the people.
    Thank you so much.

    • Jeff Johnson says:

I don’t think I have anything on that outside of my coaching club.

I guess I should look at producing some free list building stuff for you guys!

  7. Jonathan says:

Hey there Jeff, how bout the latest on what you’re NOT working on. I heard a while back that Social Media work was really not something we should be spending a lot of time on. How has your focus changed in the last say, three months.

    Jonathan Edwards – Olympian

    • Jeff Johnson says:

I don’t think I’ve ever said don’t use social media… it’s a huge part of my strategy and I plan on doing more of it.

I just don’t believe you should spend too much time interacting with your twitter and facebook accounts… just push good content out and let them come to you :)

But I’m not working with social bookmarking these days… I think that is probably not the best time to spend your time these days and my tutorials have been updated to say that.

I also don’t spend much time getting incoming links from blog comments although they do work, I just feel article marketing, or producing content to attract links is far more effective.

  8. Bill says:

I’d like to see step by step how to create a video site map.

  9. ethan says:

Any extra macbookpros from all your winnings lying around for a guy and his family trying to get something started online and having to put up with all your email blasts? :)

    • Jeff Johnson says:

Thank god I have over 100 tutorials posted on my blog and youtube so you don’t always just get blasted with my promotions :)

      • ethan says:

Always appreciative of the efforts and tutorials you provide, and i certainly don’t expect you to give everything away. I was just quoting your own words in the apology email you sent. Thank G-D! Now, about any macbooks you might have lying around?

  32. Jeff,

You create so much great content, with many words of wisdom.

Being across “the pond” in the UK, I would love to know how to get videos, web 2.0 properties, such as Squidoo etc, and articles ranked on my local UK Google.co.uk, instead of just Google.com ????

I’m still a relative newbie who is trying to grow an internet marketing business for small businesses here in Blighty. Any info would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks

I have recently completed this book for e-sale. It is a true story about psychological and emotional abuse presented for the benefit and understanding of people going through dysfunctional relationships. I am at a loss now as to getting it out there.

  36. susanann says:

Wwould love info on Article marketing and or affiliate marketing. I am using some click bank products with article marketing, but I don’t know how to market to the public directly. Thanks. Susanann

    • Jeff Johnson says:

I have some great article marketing stuff in my club but nothing for the public. I’ll see what we can do.

Ton’s of affiliate marketing on this blog… I’ll see about getting more new stuff out there.

  37. Gene Gill says:

    Hi Jeff,

I would love access again to your wordpress traffic getting plugin – I have one from early this year. I’m confused if updates are free to the public (your list members) or is it just for your club members..?

    • Jeff Johnson says:

We just issued an update and it’s free to my list, unless it’s my pro version… which is members only.

      Check your email for updates…

  38. Nickolove says:

    Jeff, thanks for asking.

I’d like more of your expert tips on affiliate marketing and or some tips on YouTube marketing.

    Congratulations on your latest triumph.

  39. Thomas says:

I saw a few of your video and you suggested doing affiliate marketing for high ticket products because they pay the most. It seems that advice is more geared to the IM niche, what if you are not in that niche? I am not in that niche I am in the pet health niche and I can’t find high end product for that niche, what do you suggest for someone starting out in affiliate marketing in a niche that don’t have $2000 products to promote?

    • Jeff Johnson says:

I helped Frank Kern test out his dog stuff on free traffic… we crushed it and then he took it and did the whole PPC thing and turned it into a 7 figure business. He’s a bad-ass :)

And I know there are higher priced products in your niche… it doesn’t have to be 2,000.. just more than a dollar commission for selling a book on amazon :)

      Go where the money is!

  40. Hi Jeff
Anything to help those starting out get traffic.
Or-I’d like to interview you over Skype and produce a product that way :)
    Best wishes

  44. Terry says:

OK! then maybe something plug & play might be the ticket to start a list building frenzie,so everyone will benefit.

  45. Deb Augur says:

    YouTube Mktg gets my vote!

  46. Hello Jeff,

In one of Eben pagan’s DVD, he talks about how you should try to be in the shoes of your customer. Understand the time line of your customer, what solution is he looking for, what is his problem in the first place.

I heard that sales funnel would do better than simple landing pages with an order button. I guess it’s because on the time line of your customer, he might not be ready to buy from the get go.

Is that right ? Or is it just the fact that you engage him to say ‘yes’ between each steps that brings better conversions ?
Do you have any specific steps or systems regarding sales funnel ?

    Thank you very much.
    Jeoff

  47. Using multiple blogs for SEO

  48. Dan says:

    Hi Jeff,

In a previous post on your blog, an interesting SEO tactic was mentioned that can help one to achieve a rapid rankings increase. This method was called
    the “Internal Target Page Technique.”

I’ve been interested in how this technique works for some time. If you’d be willing to share it with us as part of the free content that would be great.

    Thanks,

    Dan

  49. Jeff, So much to do and so little time to get it all done. Your list building and affiliate videos are great. But what I really need is a clone or two. Can you recommend a good place to outsource so that I can get the menial tasks done like article re-writes, posting to blogs and email writing for autoresponders?
    Thanks,
    Hal

  50. Love to hear your thoughts on how to react to the ‘MayDay’ algorithm change at Google. Is this the end of sites like your DSLR site or not?

    • Jeff Johnson says:

I haven’t even touched my dslr style sites in two years.

Hard to say… tons of people are selling brand new products and systems based on those concepts to this day.

I’ll have to take a look and get back to you.

  51. Jeff, I know you probably weren’t to ruffled by Google’s latest algorithm changes. But some of us were, or rather some of our sites were affected. Thank goodness I don’t keep all my eggs in one basket, but I would still like to hear what you have to say about the MayDay Dance Google just did. I saw some serious drops in some of my sites… is this permanent or can I hope for a rebound? What can I do different with these sites?

    Thanks,
    ~cj

    • Jeff Johnson says:

My main content sites were not negatively impacted. I’ll have to take a look at some of my older “auto content” sites and let you know.

  52. I signed up for Eben Pagan’s course through your link. How do I get access to your bonuses?
Also I would like to see a discussion/tips on implementation of a program. How do you roll it out? What is the media mix, timing, schedule etc.
What are effective ways to build lists for those of us new to this?

    • Jeff Johnson says:

      Thanks!

Eben’s team should give me a list of my buyers sometime in the next week or so. If you are on that list we’ll definitely be in touch via email.

But I have no way of verifying you are on my list as of today.

You may want to check with eben’s team right now and verify that you were indeed assigned to my affilaite link.

  53. Zarko Z says:

I think everyone already covered each aspect, but I am very much interested in affiliate marketing. everyone is talking about clickbank, and that is really narrowing things down for all of us. I would like to hear some good info from someone like you about Commission Junction and other affiliate networks.

    Thanks Jeff :)

  54. Charlie says:

    Jeff,

Specifically, Article Marketing would be great. Most interested in learning how to outsource it effectively and feasibly for traffic, blog posts.

Software vs. outsourcing to the PH…that sort of training.

Thanks for promoting GURU Blue Print. I signed up because of your emails! I’m excited to go through Eben’s training.

Did I miss an email or have you announced anything yet about your bonus training for those of us who used your affiliate link?

Looking forward to training with you whenever you do roll it out.

Most importantly…Congratulations!!! My hat’s off to you buddy for taking the first place affiliate position in this launch! You deserve it because you go the extra mile and have a solid work ethic. I learned long ago that the biggest gauge with which we can measure our level of effectiveness in sales is our paycheck. That affiliate check you’ll get from Eben is a direct reflection of your talent and commitment to your craft as a highly successful marketer.

    Thanks Again Jeff!

    • Jeff Johnson says:

      Thanks!

I have no idea who is on my list right now but Eben’s team is working on a list for me.

once I have that I’ll email everyone about the bonuses.

If you really need to know if you are on my list just contact Eben’s team directly and ask if you are on my list.

  55. c says:

    Hi Jeff.

Can you tell me if it is still possible to earn good money promoting real products?

Also maybe give some info on it?

    Thanks

    • Jeff Johnson says:

Yes, you can definitely make money promoting “real products”. I’ll see what we can come up with.

  56. Mick says:

First off Jeff, you offer a TON of Great Value that I’m sure all of your readers and people like myself who are on your list can appreciate. I would like to know how to become a club member, and if the member version of the SEO plugin is available (what cost) until club membership is open.

    • Jeff Johnson says:

Sorry, both my club and the pro version are not currently available but I’ll be sure to email everyone when new seats open up. Which means I’ll also give away pro versions of TGSP for joining.

  57. ibeawuchi samuel says:

I’d love some quality content on getting hungry targeted traffic to various offers.
    Thanks.

  58. Hello Jef Johnson,

I sincerely appreciate your thinking and feel you could make a valuable contribution to us all if you would put together an original (maybe “brandable”) report that could be offered to the general public. People out of work …. that want to work, are willing to work, and are able to work (with a little help) and NEED to work.
Not the “income opportunity” people but the people who have never Really thought about working on their own.
Maybe an “application” approach …to determine what direction or area they could make the most contribution with their time and money.

I need this report as soon a possible please ;>)

    I here for YOU, Jeff

  59. Hi Jeff,

I’ll cut to the chase – My suggestions from my selfish POV:

    1) Niche research: Where you find ideas, how you choose your niche (knowing its active, converts) and corresponding keywords and then find a way to monetize traffic from your niche

    2) WordPress for SEO; whether to uses posts or pages etc…

    Cheers!
    Carrick

    • Rikard says:

I wholeheartedly second that. You have a lot of material giving great advice and tips on just about everything thats readily available for all to see. But these are subject matters where your expert advice could make or break the success of someone looking to get started.

    Hi Jeff,

It would be nice if an expert like you explain some insider strategy with Facebook.

  66. Brandon says:

I’ll love to hear your thoughts on any of the above, as I enjoy my brain being fried. But what I’m personally into right now, and enjoy your thoughts on is blogging. specifically the best ways to monetize blogs.

Thanks for all your contributions to the community,

    Brandon

  67. This is awesome to offer your readers, members and affiliates free content. I’m always looking to learn more and broaden my horizons.

I would love to learn more on Youtube Marketing.
Every tip helps me bring my marketing business to a new level. I think it’s my new project to build traffic and lists through youtube.

    So bring it on.

    Thanks Jeff!

  68. Janet says:

YouTube marketing is something I’m interested in developing. Only give it to me in written format, please! It may sound odd, but, I really don’t like to sit here and listen to a video. I could read through the same amount of information quicker and learn more at the same time.

  69. Steve says:

    Hi Jeff,

One thing that I’m trying to get my head around at the moment is just how much effort do I need to do to drive (getting backlinks from various other content types) traffic to different kinds of sites, e.g. say a smaller site that maybe just does adsense, a bigger site with an optin and sales of ebooks down the line and finally a big site with quality content that supports a membership site and high end products.

Any kind of parameters as guidance in this area would be great.

    Thanks,

    Steve

  70. Margaret says:

      • Ozcan says:

        Hi again,
Very straight one: Which blogs allow us to do internet marketing business without hosting it? Maybe we have a domain or not. What are the limitation do you know about? Thanks in advance.

        • Jeff Johnson says:

The top free blog sites that rank well are
          https://www.blogger.com/start
          http://wordpress.com/

But there are thousands out there.. just search google.

And pages liike squidoo and hubpages also work well and are free.

Not to mention facebook, youtube, and thousands of other social networking sites.

The limitation is you don’t have complete control over the look and feel, and they own it so they can shut you down for any reason.

  73. Allen says:

Ok,so i have a web site that is like a paper weight, any suggestions?

  76. Prakash says:

    Hi Jeff Johnson,
I really like you cramped style of talking, you are so unique and that initially I had a difficulty as when you speak between your sentences your full stops before the start of new sentences sound like there was a quick coma as you continue speaking, this is am amazing skill as this type of hearing for me is like being hungry for knowledge and here you are speaking in the manner that you do , in reality I suffer from ADD however you make it easy for people like me to stay focused as when I am hearing you I just don’t have enough break between your said sentences to get distracted.
Look initially through the purchase of the Magic Bullet, you were no good for me as I did not understand you, now that I do , I will always stay in your auto responder hoping that one day soon you will give to me a free formula for success and after that I will succeed and repay you back 10 fold! This is my promise to you.

    Hi Jeff,

I would to see some Killer Free Content about SEO for blogs, and also how to get the Search Engines to index pages to a blog when they are not reading them. Thanks so much for what you do and the true value you provide to the industry.

  86. Tomi says:

I would really like to see you creating an affiliate campaign from scratch. A look over your shoulder kind of thing. You record all your moves but you don’t need to explain anything, only maybe give references to your other free videos (so you don’t need to go through all the content already available on your website). And show results like ” After 2 days I have had 10 visitors etc.
I think that the main reason why people fail in business is because they start something but don’t finish. This kind of video series would blow enthusiasm and motivation levels through the roof.
If you record the whole process in couple of days and chop it up into 25min videos to release after every 2 days it would be enough to keep people going for a month or so and in a month people should start to see result on their own websites ( extra cool if people would start their own mini projects at the same time you start releasing videos).
I’m really sleepy and I have too much thoughts on that subject so I’m not sure if I’m making any sense. I hope you’ll understand my point ;)

I have videos to use as promotions and would love to know how to make the most of these (video marketing and video SEO optimisation.) I have used the information in one of your free tutorials to create a blog on hypnosis that has over 530 double opt in members. I have never had enough money to join your coaching club, but often think of the results I would get if I had. Sincerely, Bruce

    3) Long tail keyword

    Thanks

  95. Mark says:

How about… Step by step how to from ground zero to first dollar with Affiliate marketing? We all know if you get it right from the beginning you can continue to build from there.

Then we would have a foundation to need more of your products with a solid beginning that would lead to more success with your products which would lead to more purchases of more products…..

  96. Ellery says:

Rather than picking one single topic to discuss on, can you please give us your strategy on how to combine it all together?

For example, assume that you are going to target a niche “X”, and you are completely new in this niche. What will you do to make $2,000 by promoting other people’s product in Clickbank, assume that you have no list, no website and no product?

Give us a report/white paper of 3 – 5 steps on how to achieve this, and how to repeat this process will be great.

Then it will involve all aspects you are asking.

    :-) My 0.02

  97. Hi Jeff:
All the subjects you mention are very important and yet I prefer to have some more free content about SEO strategies and traffic. Why? We all know that without traffic we have nothing. I am sure that with good SEO applications on a site will bring targeted and free traffic, unless we prefer pay for PPC.
    Thanks,
    Jesus Moreno

hi Jeff, seriously speaking, did you really make that much in 4 days!!!. i am just confused on this whole, i about getting started.with the volume of different informations here and there. plesase can you just take me through the process slowly on how to be a successfull affiliate marketer-from the scratch!!

    • Jeff Johnson says:

Yes, I really made that much as an affiliate in just a few days…. many times :)

Here’s a 13 part affiliate marketing video series I posted on youtube.

      Affiliate Marketing

and there are at least 10 or so more affiliate marketing videos I posted on youtube.. enjoy!

  104. Hi Jeff,

I would like more info in video marketing. I seems like all the video channels give no follow links so we don’t get a lot of benefits unless we have an awesome video.

    Thanks for all your help

  105. Garo says:

I would like some info on the nuts and bolts of redirecting to different domains so I don’t have to buy multiple domains when one is allowed. For instance, mydomain/topicA; mydomain/topicB; mydomain/topicC, etc. Somehow you go to mydomain and redirect to the subdomain. Where I’v seen this explained, it was done so cryptically that I still don’t know how to do it.
    Thanks,
    Garo

  106. RICHARD says:

I read about half of the comments so I don’t know if this was mentioned but how about telling us what is your best source of traffic outside of affiliate traffic, why, and how to apply it.
    Thanks.

    • Jeff Johnson says:

That would be search engines from all the content I release via blogs, videos and how I tie that into social media. I get more traffic on the average day from the engines than I do from affiliates.

  107. Sherwood Tucker says:

    Hi Jeff
I will second the motion for niche finding.

For me it is finding a Market/niche/microniche but for both adsense and affiliate/ebook site…

The first part is the hardest for me and maybe I am making too much of it? But all I ever see is either 1) look around on magazines.com or 2) Amazon 3) google trends etc….
    but no specifics…

I mean I see that WII is high on list or I see a list of popular magazines and then so what do I do with that? Ho do I pick a niche from that?

    Carrick said it well:

    Cheers!
    Carrick
    Cheers Sherwood

  119. anita says:

Wow! this is quite a “wish list” of topics, …should keep you busy! Thanks for the links posted here. I’ve already watched the super-affiliate videos, but would still be interested to learn anything you would be willing to teach about affiliate marketing, especially the thought/decision process – how you decide on a marketing strategy. Is it something you can explain or is it intuitive?

  120. Eric Marlow says:

    Hi Jeff,

I get a lot of value from hearing how people got started in affiliate and online marketing. I would love to hear more detail on how you went from someone without any internet experience working on wall street to earning high six figures as an amazon affiliate in only six months.

I’m not sure if you were an affiliate of other companies or just amazon during that time?

If you could provide more specific detail on how that happened and what you did to make that happen would be awesome.

What kinds of sites did you build and what were the focus of the pages?

How did you come up with the content for those pages?

How did you promote those pages and get traffic to them?

Even if some of the tactics you used at the time are less effective or just don’t work, it would still be a great lesson to learn from.

    Thanks for the consideration.

    Hi Jeff
I would like to see more about list building and Auto Responders, the uses of follow ups. the best strategies to use and a breakdown of how to use them effectively to create a functional list of repeat buyers.
Auto Response is a key area to keep in touch as proved by your endless mails LOL.
But many Including myself still have a grey area when it comes to setting out a good and effective campaign.
It would be great to find out more here.
By the way this is a great Idea to ask the people you are working with.

    Thanks
    All the best

  125. Jeff,

I’d like to see something on how to succeed in affiliate marketing, specifically, how a newbie affiliate can compete with established affiliates.

  126. Hey Jeff,

I think a lot of people would like to see what you would do if you had to start making money online from scratch, without spending a dime until you make money…

I’m thinking like how would you go about setting up blogs, drive traffic, and start building a list without paying for any of it?

It would be really cool to watch over your shoulder for like the first week and see what you would do if you could not spend a dime on this?

  127. Seth says:

    Hi Jeff,

Would love to learn more from you about SEO, specifically targeting the local market(s). List building from scratch is another area that would be great to have more content on as well. Thanks again!

  128. Gail Fay says:

With all the fantastic stuff you have buried in your blog, you could do with an index of contents. That way, it’s really easy to find. Although my blog is only a few weeks old I have installed a wonderful plug-in called “Table of Contents Creator”. It creates a new page with all the contents of the blog (like the contents at the front of a book). It makes it really handy for your readers, as they can sort it in a variety of ways eg. by category, subject, alphabetical etc. I think all blogs should have a table of contents.

I would love you to create new content on how to set up a sales funnel with giveaway, backend upsell, downsell, OTO, listbuilding everything you can think of. Many marketers talk about it but don’t actually show how it’s set up and implemented.

    Thanks so much!

I stay with you though, because I have learned a lot, and have been helped in my IM career since hanging out with you. If I can ever make any money at this damned business, I’ll sign up with you when your course opens.

How about doing some stuff on video SEO and optimization. This is something I have a lot of tools for, but haven’t really learned yet, how to use them. Even though, I know that video could take me right to the golden triangle on Googles first page. Thanks…maybe we will meet some day.

    • Jeff Johnson says:

You don’t need a pc to have a website, and you can have a website for free to get started.

Just use the free blogging services like wordpress.com or blogger.com… or sites like facebook, twitter, hubpages, squidoo…. all free.

Promote affiliate products on your blogs, which is free.

You can also distribute articles for free and do forum links for free.

If you need a loan try contacting an SBA approved lender in your area and see what they can do to help.

then be able to buy qualified traffic).

  137. Hey Jeff,

Would love to know more about researching low competition and high demand niches. I have a pretty good concept, but would definitely like to hear from you about it.

  138. Cy says:

Thank you, Jeff, for this post and your request for our suggestions.

We would be interested in case studies of product launches, from the very beginning of planning a strategy for the launch (e.g., how you might set up step-by-step mind maps and flow charts) to post-launch customer service. Your thoughts on pitfalls to avoid and what are critical components or factors that must be included or considered to make a launch successful would be very helpful.

  142. Charles says:

    Hi Jeff,

Congratulations on the launch successes. Have been watching.

Great, invaluable content on your site.

I’m studying like heck — have been for 4 months. Have learned a ton, nowhere more so than here. Eliminated a lot of sites I originally subscribed to whose business model seems to be content-pitch-pitch-pitch-pitch-pitch-pitch-pitch.

Your content seems to be more than anyone would ever really need to do extremely well. (My take as a contemplative newbie)

I’ve seen your free SEO Plug-In and your installation instructions, but I’m at a level one step prior to that. In other words, clueless about even what an SEO Plug-In does for you.

Also, how much space it takes up and once installed, what to look for to tell you whether it’s producing any results.

So as far as “wish list”, that question answered and with video being so popular and mandatory… Video SEO.

    Thanks for all,

    Charles

All of your examples are of value, and any one of which would be worthwhile. Personally, considering your mastery of traffic generation, I’d really appreciate a ‘multimedia manifesto’ sharing strategic thinking of IM business models and tools – from your perspective [at the front end of traffic and lead generation]. It would also be of extreme value to me were you to include an explanation of one or more processes by which to assess prospective niches using free keyword tools and how to conduct relatively inexpensive, yet efficacious, market tests.
